The food is great, I had the pot roast, squash casserole and turnip greens. The service is always super friendly. There is usually a wait, just sign the clipboard when you go in. They are only open for lunch until 2 but they also sell take home food until 4 I think.
Food was excellent. Had the chicken and dumpling with purple gull peas and greens. Topped it off with some blackberry cobbler with a scoop of ice cream. I need a nap now.
A great discovery. Home cooked meals, friendly staff. The problem is deciding what to have. Look for the daily specials as a guide. this is a great spot when we're traveling as it is outside of Memphis in a cozy hometown setting.
Wonderful place to eat. So envious of those who work near here and eat here regularly. I would be so fat. With all the superb sandwiches and salad, they make an awesome hamburger dressed just the way you want it. My partner had the A Robbie Salad. Vegetables, vegetables, vegetables. This place makes coming back to the south worthwhile. A wonderful place. Family owned and managed, owners always on site. This is the first place I go to when I fly in from Orcas Island.
