I have empathy for fast food restaurants being they are so short staffed, however, I was floored at the dirty messy looking location yesterday n Forest Hill! Started with the glass door which had so many greasy fingerprints and dirt on it , floors were needing a good mopping , salad bar was disastrous , strewn all over the counter and floor, and inexperienced cashiers were truly struggling ! Left hoping the sandwich I ordered wasn’t contaminated. Truly a full time or part time manager is needed

What follows, has happened and more than one occasion at the Newks in Collierville. Ordered pizza a sandwich and soup and salad, and was told a 15 minute wait. 40 minutes later I still had not received my order. After another five minute wait it finally came out with no pizza. I asked what happened and was told they forgot to make the pizza. Whoever I was speaking with was very unapologetic. Like I said this has happened more than once. I am not sure why this location remains open.
sadly, the worst Newks I’ve ever been to. they never answer their phones. I’ve received pitiful “sandwiches” that I’ve had to call back about. I don’t understand what is going on but whoever is running this place needs to step it up.
Worst newks I’ve ever. They close at different times each time you try to get food. It was 7 for awhile(which is crazy). Just tried at 6:09, well now they close at 6. They never want to answer the phone to call in an order. I swear it’s like they actively try not to do dinner business. I will start driving back into Memphis, as I know those stay open till a reasonable hour.
Similar to McAllister deli but also has pizza. Most patrons were having salad. Sandwich was good and fair price. NEED TO CLEAN THE FRONT BLINDS - THEY ARE FILTHY.
Slow slow slow. Only a few tables. No line before or after us. No delivery or to-go orders being setup. When our stuff finally came out we asked for a bag bc he had to leave without eating. Employee said 'yeah, sure' and then went on about other stuff and we ended dup going to get one from the counter. He was never going to get it.

Salt overload!We split a shrimp poboy, a potato soup & tortilla soup - they were all incredibly salty. In the end we didn't finish anything.The best thing about the experience was the reusable drink cups.
Newk's Favorite salad is my favorite salad. The chicken salad is delicious as well. The workers are always very nice and helpful.
