The Fuji cafe is a comfortable little place off of Poplar. The sushi is great and the prices are reasonable. The chicken fried rice was ok. The service is great and the place is clean. Definitely recommend this place.
Absolute best sushi in town! I've been coming here for years (I had one review but I want to update it!) Everything is great here, even down to the details on arranging the plates beautifully. They make accommodations easily (like if you don't want wasabi, just ask!) The staff are fantastic! I'm a regular at this point and I love their food! There's a good many choices... All of them are great! My very favorite place to eat! They have different prices and menu options for lunch! I love their sushi lunch set!
We were driving from Arkansas and didnt want to eat fast food garbage. I've eaten a lot of sushi originally growing up in California. Hands down, this is the BEST Unagi Donburi I have ever tasted. It came with sliced squid and seaweed as well. All the textures and flavors balanced perfectly. We also shared a rainbow roll which was good. The kiddos devoured their california rolls and Gyoza. The portions are perfect, excellent service. I will come back again when we are in the area. They even brought little cheater clips for the girls, so they could also use chopsticks. (theyre still learning to use them) The atmosphere was very relaxed. We came on a Sunday night and it was quiet.

Presentation was incredible. Their waiters are doing a fine job. Serving size was reflecting of their prices.Side note: this is the ONLY place in Memphis I have seen with Mackerel Nigiri in months. To top it off they made it really large and fantastically made.The scallop nigiri confused me as it wasn’t just scallop, but it was a pleasant surprise. Good job
