Terrible dry reheated ribs… average service… crappy ambiance

I've been going to this place my whole life and it's a shame to see what has happened to it. They've changed their onion loaf to where it's not recognizable anymore. More like large onion rings smushed together. The breading was soggy with grease and overcooked yet the onions were undercooked. The pulled pork sandwich was dry and had little flavor. The ribs tasted like they smothered them in nothing but paprika and they were overcooked. Hush puppies were chewy. The beans were still pretty good. It's the only thing i actually enjoyed. I used to rave about Corky's to everyone, but now I might never go back.

I have been a patron of Corky’s since the first store opened in Memphis and have shipped to clients all over the country. Well looks like I am going to have to give up on Corky’s Collierville. During Covid, we ordered Delivery of a couple of orders of BBQ Nachos. They arrived cold and chips were soggy. Barely edible. I called the store and spoke to the Manager who apologized and took my info and said would send me coupons. Of course I never received. Today ordered rack of ribs and BBQ and sides to feed 10 for my Father-in-Law. Ordered on line 1:30 hours before pick-up and received an email that order was received and on schedule. When I arrived there were two frustrated customers waiting and the young lady at the register was looking at receipts and her phone and showed no interest in the folks in line. There were about three occupied table in store. The lady in front of me asked if was her food on back counter and the young lady did not respond. After a bit another young lady brought the lady her food, who took it, turned to me and said good luck! Eventually the second girl asked my name and she said would be 15 min. When I inquired why it was late when I ordered on line and received time confirmation. She turned a bit surly. I explained to her that I was not frustrated with her and it was a simple question as would of been the case as well for the people in front of me. I have been tipping extra ever since Covid, but when I received my food 20 min late in a store that had very few customers, and due to the attitude of the employees, I asked my tip to be refunded. I was told they could not do that and I said that is not true and to get me a manager. She said the computer had been down was why order was late. So why did she not offer that on my first inquiry and we could have avoided much aggravation. I waited several minutes longer and neither girl or a manager showed. I elected to leave as I was already late for my engagement. Guess it is the Commissary from now on.

My food was cold. It was wrapped in foil and it was still cold. I had to put the ribs in my air fryer. I ate my pulled pork sandwich and it was cold but ok. The only item that was hot was my daughter's fries. Will not go back.

Brisket taste like roast beef, if this is the quality and quantity for 16.99 that is being served at this location, I'll advise either try another location or a better BBQ joint altogether. SAVE YOUR MONEY.

Recently, week of April 18, decided to have some BBQ. I was third in Line at the drive thru. Waited about 15-20 minutes before I was able to place my order. After this, I had to wait another 10-15 minutes waiting for the two other customers to get their order. Finally, I pulled up at the window. I was greeted or say met by a person who has not right being there. He grabbed at my card and disappeared for about 5 minutes. I then had to wait about 10 minutes to have my food practically thrown at me and not even a word was spoken to say thank you. This place is the pits. There is much better service and BBQ else where.

One of the worse places we have been in a while, seated us and never seen them again. There was only one other person in the restaurant.

Don't go here expecting to be treated as a valued customer. Extremely long wait times and most unfriendly and rude people.

We hadn't been to Corky's since they changed owners. I have never been so disappointed in what once a great BBQ joint! The pulled pork was fatty and had no taste. The BBQ sauce was watered down. The homemade chips were Miss Vickie's chips, which I love but wasn't expecting and are certainly not homemade. Our to go order was missing two items that we paid for. We're not going back any time soon. Good thing there are lots of other choices around.

I used to love this place, but I’ve had bad luck with service the past three times I’ve been there. The first one before the pandemic, the waiter left us sit there for 45 minutes without even asking for our drinks, I was extremely upset so we took off without saying a word and I banned it for almost a year, then the pandemic hit and we did not go out anywhere, then after things started coming back to normal we tried to come back a couple of more times to dine in, the first one I was told only take out was being offered, even when many restaurants were already open for dine in, so I was not upset because of it, I understood. But then We tried to come back a weeks later, now that it said they were open for dine in, stood there for enough minutes, restaurant almost empty nobody showed up at the welcome booth, then when we were by the door leaving, a waiter came out the kitchen and said it was only two people working today that service was gonna be slow, and we were hungry so, we decided to take off… I would still love to come back and try again.
