Great food, friendly staff, and atmosphere!
They are never open. They keep updating their online hours and saying they are back to being open until midnight. But on 5/17/22 they were closed prior to 8pm.Guys... we are past being short employees due to Covid and stimulus checks. If you can not keep normal hours by now then there is something wrong with how you manager your business.Get it together.
This is is first time I have eaten inside this location since moving to Cleveland. I was unaware that orders are now taken at the register but the staff was very kind and explained their new process to me. My food was excellent but what stuck out to me the most was that their managers were working front and center with their employees. A manager took my order, refilled my drink, and provided me with a bag for my leftovers. They were all more than pleasant and very cheerful. I applaud this location and their managers for working alongside the employees so that they were not overloaded. I was so impressed that as soon as I returned to my car I immediately pulled up Google to leave this review. Thank you for the wonderful food and service, I will most definitely return!
Ah the post covid world has not been kind to our local Steak and Shake. You can eat in but there are no servers. You order at counter and you get it "to go" essentially, but you can eat in. Kind of weird since Steak and Shake is literally surround by other restaurants that have regular servers like normal. Food was ok, it was really busy oddly enough. My burger was covered in burnt meat from prior cooking. 50/50 on doing the eat in to go deal.
Ate at a lot of these over the years. Dont care for standing at counter ordering food and a number being yelled out for me to pick up. Then want a tip? No your no different now than any other ff chain. Food was meh.
Great strawberry shake and love their burgers! Those shoestring fries are good, too. But whoever the lady was that served through the drivethrough on Friday night, Feb. 11th 2022 deserves a raise or a bonus or something. She was so awesome even though the lines was massive bc of a wreck. Thank you for being wonderful!!
I remember when this business opened. I was so glad that they opened here in this town. This Restaurant is always clean and the bathrooms too. And the employees are friendly. The food is always fresh and always hot when it gets to the table. The servings and the price is always fair. You got to have a famous shake to drink there or carry out.
The price value at Steak n shake is absolutely amazing! The $4 meals are a great value and portion size compared to other restaurants to choose from.
Ingredients have changed causing hamburger to taste like mushy dog food. No more lettuce served on hamburgers.
Don't listen when they say pull to the side then watch cars pull forward because someone else is getting your food. Waited 20 mins for the correct food milkshake was good but other than that needs some work.
