I keep fooling myself. Every 7 or 8 months (or so) I return to Sonics in a different city, expecting them to have better food. I think I'm finally done. Their shakes are excellent. I wish they only sold shakes and tater tots, then I would quit wasting money with them.Shame on me.
Asked for a Crispy Chicken Sandwich with no tomato, add bacon. There was extra tomato, no bacon. My Super Sonic DOUBLE cheeseburger had one patty, and was practically burnt. I did an online order so can’t make the excuse of heard it wrong, and my Carhop Sarah ( very nice ) read my order to me perfectly. Very disappointed when I got home. My receipt reads my order perfectly as well. Also because of these issues, for what I got, I spent $4-$5 more than what I was supposed too.
Most of the carhops are very pleasant. My problem is the 15+ minute waits on my mobile order and my food is ALWAYS wrong. The wait may not be so bad if my food was correct.
Nathan was lacking in his delivery skills! Didnt bring change! No ketsup for tots! It was a kids meal and not toy as stated on menu! Worst its been in a while! Tomato was almost completely green!
The food is usually pretty decent but, any time I add or remove items from my order (lettuce or bacon) they always mess my order up. I still get charged for the bacon but don’t get what I wanted!
App orders take 10+ minutes. And the order was just for 2 drinks and 1 ice cream tonight. Earlier in the week burger orders were wrong. Why do I even bother? I could have driven to Benton instead.
I love sonic. But Stopped here tonight. Cold chicken. Cold tots. They weren’t nice. No napkins. No ketchup(after I ordered extra). This location needs help.
Where do I start. First off, yesterday, went to this sonic and ordered a double cheeseburger with bacon, large fry, two of the new chili cheese Fritos, and a pretzel stick. I can say there drinks are great and that is ALL I will use them for from now. Last night, the bread smelled so sour I felt sick after a few bites. They added a second burger in the bag and I was hoping it was better, but no it was the same. The pretzel did not come with cheese like I asked and they NEVER put the cheese in the bag. You have to ask the waitress to go back in and get it. Also, I tipped my waitress last night $10 for being so quick. Then get home to find out the food was gross. Starting a new thing where I am avoiding any restaurants that provide poor quality food. Not gonna complain to management. They just won’t get my business.PS: I have lived in Cleveland for 20 years. They’ve been horrible for the last 10 years. Got desperate last night, because I now live out of state but when I come visit and it’s late, I have to eat. Just not worth it. Would rather buy jerky at a gas station from now on.
I would just like to say, I’ve reviewed some of these “reviews” and let me tell you that this sonic is amazing! Yes sometimes the food takes a long time to get out the door and yes it’s sometimes wrong or cold. BUT you ADULTS have to realize that this sonic consists of mostly KIDS of so far I’ve seen. Imagine going to school for 7 hours then going straight to work after school until 10/11, doing homework and finally going to bed getting 4-6 hrs of sleep then repeating the same thing for 5 days a week. Severs are extremely nice and keep you updated. This is the most popular sonic in Cleveland so it has a lot of visitors with a short staff that are kids, whom are most likely tired. Another thing. A few weeks ago I watched an older man throw his food at a kid because they didn’t get it right. As adults, respect people who are serving you ESPECIALLY MINORS. It sickens me that these kids get treated like this! Never I’m my 46 years of living have I seen this. Be patient and treat all servers with respect. They already deal with enough.
The food costs way to much, you buy one hot dog and after you tip and pay 5 bucks for the worst hot dog of your life. Your out 7 or 8 dollars and receive diarrhea. Enjoy.
