Mine's the working experience. I've been working there since May 2021 and I've had plenty of the wanting to give up & quit moments but I don't because I'm not the kind of person that quits a job.I enjoy working at Krystal's, my manager's & co-worker's are nice and fun to work with but it does get really stressful and frustrating working 2-3 different positions basically at the same time because there's not enough staff to work them. And, that's why customers would have to wait 10-40 minutes for their food.
2 years ago this was a 5 star review. Since then each trip has gotten worse. My last breakfast experience made it my last. Rude employees. Terribly burnt bacon. Phone that never works to call about a problem so you either have to drive all the way back right then or just throw away the food. I drove back with my 2 low carb scrambler bowls. Of course, you can't just walk in because the doors are always locked. The employee was obnoxious and rude. I would have liked my order replaced but because she was so awful I chose to get a refund and go to another place to get food.
This was the absolute worst experience we’ve ever had at Krystals. We went through the drive through, and we’re asked to pull over, which is fine. When they finally brought our food out we were missing half of our order. My husband went it and the guy started arguing with him about what we got, and we had the receipt. After we finally got everything, my husband got out to the car only to realize the chili cheese puffs he ordered had no chili or cheese on them. By this point, he was so tired of dealing with idiots, we just left. Oh and he said the woman inside was slurring her words and seemed drunk. Were so disappointed. We could have gotten much better food and service for $27 at another fast food place.
Cold burnt patties. Onions was crunchy as were the buns. I ordered chili cheese tots but got fries. And the threw slice cheese on it and not shredded. last time for me.
UPDATE: The owners of Krystal were very responsive and replied to my review within a half hour. They requested that I contact them by phone or through their contact page which I immediately did. Unfortunately, despite their quick initial response, I have yet to hear from them regarding this matter. It is very disappointing to know that a local business seems not to care.I hope that the Krystal Burger on Keith Street doesn't discriminate against handicapped people but our experience there has me wondering. My wife and I wanted Krystal Burgers so we drove through the parking lot and saw that there were several people eating their lunches in the dining room. We parked and got my handicapped wife out of the truck and onto her walker. At 11:50 am we entered and walked right past the cashier to a table where my wife could sit while I placed our order. I returned to the cashier and the manager said, "The dining room closes at noon." Looking at my watch and seeing that it was still before noon, I told her I did not understand. She told me that, "we have a staffing shortage and the dining room closes at noon." I still wasn't understanding why we couldn't eat our meal in the dining room as there were other patrons still eating there so I asked her to explain. She said, "the dining room closes at noon so you'll have to get your food to go." Not wanting to support a business that clearly didn't want ours, I collected my wife and we left. I'm not sure why we couldn't eat in the dining room as I'm sure that we, along with the other people still eating there, would not have been in the way of a "staffing shortage" exactly at noon but I do know that there is no reason to treat people, especially people who are mobility impaired, in this manner. We all have our burdens and we all are affected by Covid, shortages and the pandemic. There is no reason not to be nice.
Returned my black bacon to get replaced. Was told that is how their bacon looked that day and all they could do is give me my money back. They handed me a $10 bill. I said I knew it was not $10 exactly. They said the girl that ran register was on break and that was all she could do. Also saw was charged for a bag of ice for a cup of ice to go with my juice I purchased and was stuck with.
Joe Kirkland was the manager tonight he was kind curtious and professional. I have food allergies and made him aware that I needed my food made special he went above and beyond to make sure that it was fixed properly the first time even asking the other employees to change gloves to make sure nothing was touched with my specific food allergies. Thank you Joe for your outstanding service.
Never going here again if I could give zero stars I would. Went thru drive thru and the guy who took order was rude, food was burnt an wasn’t made right , chili cheese fries wasn’t even a full order . Tried calling 7 times that night no answer tried calling the next day still no answer . Submitted a complaint said someone would be in touch an still no call . Threw away over 30 dollars between me an my co worker . You would think they would take things seriously since they closed some stores down . Hopefully this location will be next
I have always loved Krystal restaurant, but they have really gone downhill, the restaurant in Cleveland Tennessee is filthy, and the food is horrible. They have changed their French fries, and they are really bad. The ceiling tiles in the restaurant are molded, and the whole atmosphere is sad. I will never eat there again!!!!
Haven't been to this Krystal in over 25 years! The lady at the register was so nice. She made it worth it coming back after all these years.
