Sushi quality was good, however the front of house booths had body odor smells in the seats and the menus smelled worse with crusty debris in the folds. The soy sauce lids had dark surface patterns you would expect from long term sediment accumulation. Sushi isn't a messy food and the restaurant is spacious enough to be easily cleaned each night, so the impression left was that those seats, menus, and table items had never been cleaned, like trying to have dinner in a high school locker room after summer football practice. Makes me wonder how clean the sushi really was.

Good thing is it's cheap but taste was like microwaved Chinese food and their yum. Yum sauce was like ginger dressing. You could feed that to Ginger's because most people don't like that. Only reason why I gave it three stars was because service was good, And it was cheap but Panda Express is even better. But what's even better than all those is takoyaki.
Fulins is the best around if your craving Chinese/Asian food!! Also! BEST sushi I've had at any restaurant in Cleveland!! Just go there! ?
The staff is always great and the plating looks great near every time I go. I’d say I’ve eaten at this restaurant a few dozen times. I’m always disappointed by the taste of the food, yet I always find myself coming back. I finally asked my partner to remind me to stop eating there again. The food looks so great, but when it comes out its near tasteless and I always get the feeling it’s lacking something.I guess that’s what you’d expect from a place with white people trying to emulate Asian cuisine. That’s my own bias of course. But I’ve eaten at hundreds of Asian restaurants in my lifetime and none lack flavor as this place does. Looks can be deceiving, so I always come back.Save your money and eat at an actual Chinese or Japanese restaurant. Most Chinese restaurants are cheaper anyways even though theirs’ won’t look as good, but my assumption is someone would likely be eating for flavor rather than looks. This place is the two mixed, (Chinese and Japanese) which in theory sounds great but when a restaurant specializes in both it’s almost certainly not people native to the culture those foods came from cooking them. I’m stupid for eating here so many times, and I’m finally done.In conclusion, Fulin’s has excellent presentation and plating and great customer service staff. Even a large menu with a lot of things to select from. But they have food that is so bland you’re better off just ordering a bowl of rice with a cup of water when you go because nothing will taste much different.Whoever is in control of the food there, I suggest you use MSG or properly spice the food. Otherwise lower your prices for the actual value of the food. I regret wasting my money here so many times.
The food was good and the service was great. They had a staffing shortage when I was there but they did well despite the challenge. Fulins is a modern styled asian restaurant with a more 'Americanized' feel to it that will appeal to the Panda Express type crowd. Try it out today!
PROS: Good food, good atmosphere, great staff, speedy service. CONS: Don't drink the water! If you order water, it tastes only slightly better than tap. However, all other beverages are topnotch.

So. Good. New to Cleveland. Best Asian restaurant that I have been to besides Chinatown in Chicago. Sushi was amazing as were the apps and hot and sour and wanton soups. Service was exceptional! Very comfortable place.
