Little biased cuz I work here now but hands down best sushi for the most reasonable price. Servers were super friendly and kind- the reason why I wanted to work there. They’ve done some renovations so now the booths are much nicer and the varnish on tables are less sticky. All of us, especially the chefs, take pride in the restaurant. Such a cozy atmosphere. Love working and occasionally eating here ❤️

The filet was superb, very tender. Fried rice could be better and the scallops were a little overcooked. Enjoyed the veggies, served a great portion. Sushi was good, we got the volcano roll and rocket man.

I was craving some Japanese fried rice and my husband ordered some filet minion hibachi combo. The rice was hard, my meat had little to no seasoning. My husband food was okay. I won’t be returning. The quality of food taste could be better especially for the price.

The waitress and the cook were great, they are the reason Im giving 2 stars. The sake I'm pretty sure was watered down, same with the sauces (yum yum and ginger). The portions were small, and the rice cost extra. Was a decent experience, will likely try a different place next time.

(3/20/2022) Drove an hour away to try this Japanese Steakhouse restaurant and I went here with my 4 year old son yesterday and had an amazing experience. We arrived around 7:00 PM and of course it was the usual dinner rush but we we're seated promptly and handed menus and had our drink orders taken. Our server who's name was Angelica took extremally good care of us and made sure we were always taken had what we needed. She had in depth knowledge of everything on the menu and helped us find exactly what we wanted. My son is Autistic and is a very picky eater so sometimes its extremally hard to find something for him to enjoy but, Angelica was very patient and she had no issue communicating with my son and helping us choose something that he would enjoy. Probably the best and most attentive service I've received at a Japanese steakhouse and my family is a frequent visitor to these establishments. I am very satisfied with my visit here and I will be more than happy to return here with my wife soon. Thank you, Angelica for the awesome service and I apologize for spilling the water!

My family and I came here for dinner last night (3/19) and our chef was good, but gave another girl at the grill my order and me hers so we both had to get it corrected. He did not make anybody at our grill noodles, just the rice veggies and meat. A few hours later when we got home I got extremely sick vomiting and have terrible stomach pains, now my husband is vomiting everywhere with stomach pains but in his case he cannot stop throwing up (I'm thinking food poisoning) 8 hours after our meal. This place used to be so good, but after our experience last night and what we're experiencing now, we will not be back.

This place is awesome. This is mine and my daughter's go-to place for sushi in Clarksville. Go there probably at least once a week. The food is prepared by a great chef and very fresh. Only negatives that I can think of are the decor of the sit-down tables in the back is very dark. And on one occasion when me and my twelve-year-old daughter were there eating. The staff was talking amongst themselves very loudly and using very foul language. Which when you have your twelve-year-old daughter sitting with you was very unprofessional and offensive. Just a heads up to the manager and the staff, you never really know who's listening when it comes to your customers especially when they have minors with them. So with that Yamato step it up.

Food was great! Service was great! Such a fun atmosphere and courteous employees! My kids loved our server (Pri) so much they asked to take a picture with her. Lol. Best hibachi and sushi around!!! We will definitely be back! ?

We won’t be back and we definitely won’t recommend this place to anyone. We were unaware that they closed at 2:30pm because this was an impromptu lunch idea. We were greeted as soon as we walked in and informed that although they closed at 2:30pm and hibachi wouldn’t be available we could still eat in and order from the dinner menu. Our table was extremely sticky and our napkins literally stuck to the table. After sitting for over 20 minutes and already placing our appetizer and dinner selections we were told that our appetizers couldn’t be made because they were closing. The rest of the service was rushed and therefore affected the quality of the food and our experience. We paid for dinner prices but were given lunch size portions. My friends plate had more food than mine and her vegetables were mixed while mine were majority of large onions. The ambiance is extremely drab and while the staff were all friendly, the food was subpar lacking flavor, the yum yum sauce tasted exactly like the ginger salad dressing with added water, the mushroom soup had little to no taste and the fried rice taste like the oil they fried it in. I think the lack of lighting and dull color dishes made the experience lackluster as well. This place needs to be revamped from the inside out.

We took our son here last night for his bday and the food was amazing. The waitress (Pri) was super sweet and very attentive. Pri took our family pics for us and kept checking in to make sure we were good and she interacted with our children. The chef was very friendly and funny while he cooked our meals. The staff sang happy birthday to my son it was an overall great experience and the food was delicious. Thank you all for great night ❤️
