Has kind of a dark grunjee vibe which is not my typical speed but works for its niche. Service is nice. Not the place for healthy options, but food is pretty good. One star off because I didn’t want ranch or whatever the default was so I was charged. If you, like me, think chicken tenders should come with your choice of sauce, you might also be irritated that you’re charged extra for sauce. There’s a cash discount and a credit surcharge so that’s good to know before you go as well. Overall solid spot for the area.
I wanted to like this place after reading previous reviews… It’s just NOT it… It’s not horrible food, however, just mediocre.I went inside to order carry out. Placed our order and waited around 35-40 minutes to receive it. The place was not even that busy… By the time we were handed our food and walked out to the car the pickle fries and pepper Jack bites were cold. They were not fresh as if they had just been made bagged and handed off as they should’ve been… Fast forward to digging into the rest of our order; the fries were EXTREMELY soggy as if they had been sitting in the box for the 35 minutes we were waiting on our order… We also ordered the southwest chicken and the Philly. I ordered the Philly with no mushrooms but add grilled onions. There were no grilled onions put on my sandwich, the Philly had ZERO flavor at all and was a very dry sandwich. The southwest chicken was pretty decent but delivered cold just like the entirety of our order. I do not recommend.
Best sandwich place in Clarksville! A bit of "a hole in the wall" but good food, good beer choices. Go for the egg rolls if they have them! Also recommend the boneless wings, chicken pesto wrap, BLT (go for the extra sauce and cucumber), Reuben, and even the Club. Have also had the sunrise burger. Here's the thing- I am the type of person who only orders like one favorite item per restaurant each time I go. I'm predictable. At WGS, though, really almost every sandwich is great: traditional, familiar, fairly priced, but also just delicious. And they deliver if you call to order. We love this place and are so happy they are still in business despite the pandemic and we really hope they continue to succeed!
I tried the New Cuban Sandwich along with the Buffalo Jalapeño poppers. They were both amazing. The environment is nice, feels like an old school diner mixed with a modern karaoke/arcade theme. Music is nice and the gentleman that helped me at the counter was awesome.
Don't judge an interior by it's exterior! I say that because I took my daughters here for lunch and one of them asked, "Uh, is this place safe?" I opened the door for them and they were like, "Cool!" Mtv music videos were playing and the interior was surprising and the sandwiches and fries were good! Our waitress was friendly too! I'd definitely stop in again.
Their was about a whole 10 people pretty much already eating. Sat at the bar for about 15mins. Not even an acknowledgment, nothing. The food is good but not good enough. Guess I will stick to Fanellis, even Subway, Firehouse, will take better care of a customer.
Trivia night was super fun! For food, we got burgers, and they were wicked small. Otherwise they would’ve got 5 stars.

The best sandwich shop in Clarksville. They also have a great selection of non-sandwich food. The atmosphere is very entertaining and the beer is cold as ice!
