Food was good, but what made our experience even better was this kid Diego. He was full of energy and just so upbeat and nice. We have been back several times because this young man was so positive and welcoming. We thought we might have meet him before because he kinda looked like 1 of our sons friends but found out he is only 17. This kid will have a bright future and waffle house should be very proud! He keeps the customers coming back!
Waited about an hour till a seat opened up, not a big deal cause at least I've finally gotten a seat. sat there for about 30 mins till one of the waiters told me they wanted that area cleared. by then another hour long line formed from people just out of church. Didn't feel like waiting an extra hour, went to IHOP instead and got seated and served imminently. 0/10 would not partake in this WH again.
One dark, cold, and windy Saturday, approximately ten of my friends entered this Waffle House and occupied a single booth. (In an obnoxious and startling manner might I add)As we slowly created a half circle out of extra chairs in this crowded establishment, a heroic server named Jade took our orders with utmost professionalism and kindness. Jade got every order exactly right and was sure to check on us several times, when any other server would have turned their heads.Even though objectively we should have been violently removed from the restaurant, the glorious food came out at a respectable speed. This Waffle House is our waffle HOME thanks to the server Jade.

Went into waffle house this morning and Smiley ? had my decaf coffee ready Diego woke me up and made me smile and my waitress she was awesome also ! love going there they make my day. I’m new here to Tennessee so they make me feel very welcome. Thank you. Barbara
Where do I start, what's funny is my husband thought this place was going to be great because of the neighborhood. As soon as he went to take a drink of his coffee I notice a lipstick mark on the cup!! The coffee cup they gave him was dirty in the middle of a pandemic. When the waitress found out she down played the whole thing and said we scared her and she thought something happened. That whole part was crazy but even outside of that event I would still would have wrote a bad review. My scrambled eggs were basically egg pancakes and the bacon was like sticks. Needless to say I won't be back.
Tonight I had a horrible experience at this one on madison street, I went in to have a peaceful dinner with my son and two of their employees that were I'm assuming off the clock were just sitting in the closed off section being rowdy, loud, singing to music they had playing on a bluetooth speaker. The waitress had been complaining that she had to clean up after them after they made a mess after they cooked themselves some food. It was very unpleasant, I really like the waffle house and have never had a bad complaint before tonight.
Very rude and not friendly at all. I will not return to this location. Staff never acknowledged we were there waiting to be seated or at least said have a seat. They waited on another gentleman before us that walked in after us and never once said hello or good morning to either of us. I honestly felt unwelcome there!!

Stopped into location and was not greeted. A customer that came in after us was served first. Whole experience was very off-putting.
