I used to come here every time, their food pumps me up with an great taste.
I used to love their food (so much so that I tolerated their pathetically miniscule side dishes), but when I placed an order for two sandwiches today via Grubhub (with a $10 GH discount for pickup, what with their establishment being only .7 miles away from my home), they couldn't manage to prepare my order after I placed it! After a 75-minute wait or so, I directly called the restaurant, twice, but there was no answer! They didn''t care to respond and obviously didn't care to lose a customer.
Me and my wife ordered the cat fish dinner we both had home fries I had mac n cheese she had candied yams. If I could give them no stars I would the mac & cheese had no cheese and it was a serving for a child the candied yams had no taste like it was straight out the can they also look like they were covered in gravy finally the homemade cornbread had no taste didn’t even seem like they put butter on it the fish was on point and the home fries were OK but as far as the sides worst soul food I ever had we will not be returning at all
This place is a hidden gem in Clarksville! Great food and EXCELLENT customer service. I truly enjoyed my experience here.

Fish was soggy, fries UNDER COOKED, slaw had a funny taste, and texas toast was cold. The fish was hot so I ate it but the rest went in the trash.$13 2pc dinner could have gotten better at Captain D's for less.
Just when I think I found the best soul food place in Clarksville, I found Uncle Settle’s Fish kitchen. So good y’all.
Went to Uncle Settles and I would have to admit I was quite pleased. The inside is quaint and cozy however it it a bit on the darker side but it to where you can't see anything. I was greeted by this lovely woman in which took my order I ordered the fried whiting plate with mac n cheese and greens with cornbread. We can just leave those sides because the fish is where it's at. Fried to a mere golden perfection. I also ordered the chicken and dressing plate. Which is a bit salty and I needed cranberry sauce to go on top, but still better than most chicken and dressing in town. As far as the drink I... Y'all they had Kool ... Cherry at that! This is truly nostolgic for me!. Dessert I ordered peach cobbler and blackberry cobbler. I feel like the peach cobbler would have been better however all I received was crust and dough yet the blackberry cobbler did not disappoint! Heaping spoons of blackberry in every bite. Can't wait to try other foods especially the banana pudding
Absolutely delicious!!! Today marked my third time eating at Uncle Settles .. catfish, mashed potatoes, and Mac n cheese. Yum!! ?. To top it off ... their banana pudding is soooo good. The past times, I have eaten chicken n dressing. That was delicious too ❤️
