First time and last going there. The service was amazing and everyone was friendly from the time I walked in to the time I left. The food was amazing and they had stuff I've never tried before and I love my Chinese food.They get one star because they brought out a fresh pan on the shrimp mixed with crab and onions and I got some. Started eating and my daughter said there was a roach on shrimp. I was done eating. And lady apologized and said that she was sorry and I'll get half off our meal because that doesn't happen they're super clean.My daughter still wanted to stay and eat so I said they eat it. When I was finished I was given the bill and they only took half off of my meal not the whole thing like they said they would. I paid the bill and I left.I will not be going back to eat there. The restaurant was clean and well taken care of. All of the food was hot and fresh and when the buffet trays were low or empty, it wasn't a long wait for someone to come and replace the tray with a new one. The food is a good quality and good tasting. The buffet is kept pretty neat and tidy for the most part. A good buffet tucked in the corner by Kroger. Definitely a place you should stop by to get some good food if you're feeling hungry and in the mood for some quality Chinese food. The servers are pretty prompt as well about coming to refill your drinks and take your finished plates from you. All around a fantastic restaurant.
This is my favorite Chinese restaurant in the Clarksville area. The food tastes great. It is cooked in small batches so it is nearly always fresh. The sushi is good. The service staff (including the hostess) are attentive and polite. Also like that they offer military discount. I like it so much that at least weekly, but sometimes more. I highly recommend!
This place is good enough when you have to accommodate a variety of people who may or may not like the same flavors of food. Positive points for having ice cream and crayfish plus a hibachi. At the end of the day it's still a buffet but as far as service goes I have no complaints.
Went for the first time on sat night. Was so Good we went back Sunday for Lunch. Place was clean, Food was Great and service was very good, a lot to choose from including Sushi. We will Return soon : )
So today is Sunday February 28th and two of my friends just ate at your restaurant. They eat there quite frequently, in fact this is the third time in just this week. The server came to their table and said to one of my friends that she don't eat much to her response was I usually don't eat much. Then the server turned to my other friend and said "AND YOU EAT TOO MUCH, YOU NEED TO EAT LESS; YOU TOO BIG." My friends had to end up taking her check to the register because she wanted to talk to the manager about it. The person she spoke with said that she was just trying to be humorous. I'm sorry but fat shaming isn't humorous in any culture. My friends weren't offered any compensation what so ever... Also when I first moved to Clarksville I came to this restaurant because I had just finished moving and didn't want to unpack just so I could cook. I guess I came in at an off time because the food was old and mushy. I took barely three bites and spit everything back into a napkin because I didn't want to get sick off the food. I told the lady at the register that I shouldn't have to pay for it because the food was nasty and I didn't eat it. She then called Clarksville police on me. I have not been back since. This is a hell of a way to run a business where people are paying your salary. Folks, hang onto your money. BAD SERVICE!!!!!
They have Roaches and the waitress said she don’t know what to do the manager told her mash them and people eat there this is nasty ? she was knocking the Roaches ? off and tried stepping on them
I've been trying to stop in, and finally did. Man, I'm glad I did. I was and am very impressed with Tasty City Buffet! They have an awesome selection of great food. The restaurant is very clean and the waiters are extremely attentive! I was even impressed with the cleanliness of the restrooms. I also love the architecture and design of the restaurant as well. Please find the time to stop by, you WILL NOT be disappointed!!
Drove by this place, so thought I would give it a try, regardless of the reviews. When I entered i was immediately greeted by a Spanish guy, from then he continued to be are waiter, came around several time to make sure are drinks were topped off. The food was great in appearance, and freshness. The only thing I wished they would add sanitizer at the ends of the buffet, instead of having to walk to front door to get some! Other than that this place was great, I will be going back.
I saw an ad on Facebook and thought I might check this place out. Came here to see the reviews and they were very promising. Decided to give the place a shot. WOW! The prices are really good and so is the food. For $40 my wife and I will eat the whole weekend. Then, while waiting for my food I asked the woman at the register how much was the to go buffet. She said $10.75. I said no way I am paying $10.75 a pound and she said no $10.75 for the whole box. What a great deal and they no have a repeat customer.
