Stopped by for the first time as we were new in town and I was excited for some “southern” cooking. I ordered the cheesy chicken sandwich which was mediocre at best. It’s pretty much some shredded cheddar, probably a slice of Kraft cheese and another slice of mozzarella. No toppings or condiments on it so it’s very bland. My husband had a Reuben and enjoyed his. Also grabbed a peach and blackberry cobbler to go. Peach is decent but the blackberry could use a little revamping. I was hoping for some hearty soul southern cooking but this wasn’t the spot for us. Service was good I’ll give them that, but for 3 kids meals, 2 sandwiches and 2 cobblers at lunch time, I think $54 is a bit much, especially when water is ordered instead of drinks.

The food was excellent and the only thing missing to top it off was Good cornbread! The cornbread is strange not a pleasing taste at all!! It kinda lessens the rest of the meal!
My first visit- definitely will be back. I’ve been looking for good home cooking since I’ve moved to Clarksville, especially meatloaf…. Just so happens I google this place on Wednesday & guess what!!! Meatloaf is there daily dish.I’ve covered some turnip greens but they are on Thursday. (Like I said I will be back)After taking a spot in the open area, the server brings you cornbread & takes your drink order.Friendly service. Quick, delicious food. Clean open environment.There is parking & clean restrooms.Small town goodness wrapped right in the heart of Clarksville.Next time I’m gonna ask not to sit under the tv- I felt like people were staring at me.
Great breakfast. We had biscuits and gravy. The gravy is simple pepper gravy, so if you want sausage, make sure to order separate. Hash brown and omelet were good as well. Fast friendly service.
Breakfast food was a little off on this visit.My bacon was cold and when it came back from kitchen it had that microwave taste,Not Good.
I love mosses the people treat me like family the food is great the service is wonderful yeah you couldn't ask for better place to eat
Service is good and the food came out quickly. 90% of my club sandwich was delicious but it had Velveeta cheese slices on it and that took away from my personal experience. My fries were hot and delicious my husband enjoyed his Ruben. We will give it one more try before we give up.
