It was my second time in and I absolutely love the place. I took my grandpa here who is a veteran and we love to look at the pictures on the wall. But the most amazing thing happened when a cook from the back came to our table her name was Charlie and she got us the famous peach cobbler! It was overall a nice experience and we will be coming back!
awesome food and friendly staff.
This place is amazing. Staff is super friendly, place is clean, and service is quick!
We are from Doon, Iowa and had a great experience for lunch! Friendly staff, awesome atmosphere & excellent food! Highly recommend to anyone in the area of one of these locations!
Food - I had the Turkey plate, Turkey was very dry and cornbread was burnt. I had to ask for butter. Hubby had bbq shrimp - it was not good, there were only 5 smaller shrimp. His cornbread was burnt too. No butter! They tried to charge us $2.50 each for a glass of water. The manager was very rude when we brought this to her attention. We had recently been to a Mission BBQ in North Myrtle where the food and staff were amazing. We were so disappointed in this one!
We were passing by Clarksville, TN on I-24 around noon today. My wife picked Mission BBQ and I'm sure glad she did. We chose the 10 bone spare ribs (essentially a full slab) as a XL combo (1 drink & side) with the drink upgraded to the "Honor Flight" cup. All was $32.09 plus tax. Decent value given how good the ribs were. The natural cut fries were so so and smallish. The smokey mountain bbq sauce was our favorite. Customers approach the order counter, pick their meal from hanging signs hung way above the clerk with pricing, pick it up quickly at the other end from an "expeditor" and then gather some plastic utensils, condiments, etc. before filling their drink and finally picking their seats at well made sturdy tables with various bbq sauce squeeze bottles and paper towels. We liked the place, purpose, food and staff we interacted with. We'll be back.
BEST dang Baked Sweet Potatoes EVER!Baked Beans are Fantastic. My family's favorite bbq
Meat by the pound.Simple and hearty sides.Half a dozen BBQ sauces to choose from. And a roll of paper towels on the table.
This was the first time my husband & I visited Mission BBQ & it did not disappoint! I told the very friendly lady behind the counter, Haley, that it was our first time. She was so amazing! She came from behind the counter to stand next to us to explain the menu & made us feel so welcomed. My husband got the steak & I got the half chicken as a combo. We paid about $30 for our food including a drink, sides, cornbread, & their phenomenal blueberry cobbler! Everything tasted amazing & the chicken practically melted in your mouth. We were so tempted to grab some more blueberry cobbler to go, but we’ll save it for our next visit.
The best sausage I have ever had. Excellent ribs and great beans. The service was fanatic and the prices were good because of the amount of food you receive. One of the best things was they are theme focused around the military and first responders then at noon they play the National Anthem.
