My kids and I went to Legions for my birthday today at 6pm. The open was not on so we were confused as to if they were open. We got inside and the young girl at the counter was nice. We ordered our food and sat and waited about 10 min. When the food arrived our dirty fried looked awful. My 26 yr old and 15 yr old refused to eat it. My burnt ends were covered in a bland sauce and yet somehow still dry. Mac and cheese was elbow macaroni and bread crumbs. No cheese anywhere to be found. My son's pork n roll was bland and the cinnamon roll reminded him of a gas station honey bun. Another table that was so eating returned the food and asked for a refund because it was also not up to par. The lady called the food gross. This was our second time to eat at legends. Maybe if you go earlier in the day the food us better. I'm so disappointed!
Dad was visiting from out of town and wanted real Tennessee BBQ. This place hit the nail on the head. Everything we got was absolutely delicious! I had the brisket plate with coleslaw and fries. The brisket was so tender and delicious! The fries and coleslaw were also amazing. The rest of the family got ribs, pork tacos, chicken, and pulled pork. We were all stuffed by the time we were done. The manager also came over and personally thanked us for having dinner there and made sure we were well taken care of. We will definitely be back!!
The restaurant was inviting, and the staff was very friendly. My girl had the smoked chicken sandwich with collard greens and baked beans. She, said the smoked chicken was tender, juicy, and very good. The collard greens and baked beans was really good too. I, had the onion surprise burger, and it very flavorful. It was very delicious. We, will definitely will go back and try some other things on the menu for sure. It was way better than any burger that ever had.
We dropped in today and had lunch. Everything was absolutely delicious. The owner was on site. We met and discovered we had a lot in common. We were allowed to sample the collard greens and a new breakfast "trash burrito", which will be available for order all day. Both items were excellent. We purchased a Mr. Nasty Burger, Dirty Fries and Onion Surprise Burger. Everything was off the chain good. The sweet tea was perfect. The staff was accommodating and very polite. Oh, I almost forgot, they have there own signature blend bar-b-que sauce. It was good. We were even given a bottle to take home. I guess you can see, we'll be visiting often.
Was really looking for a salad to eat tonight and stopped in Legends to see what they had. No salad on the menu and was walking out to go on my search … but wait!!! Before I made it out the door Kevin stopped me and asked what was wrong. I advised him nothing I was just really wanting a salad. Kevin was on it and said he could make me a salad no problem! Let me tell you about this salad: pulled chicken on a bed of sweet lettuce with cheese, tomato, and avocado slices! With is sweet bourbon BBQ sauce for dressing!!! IT WAS AMAZING! Keven please put this on your menu, and thank you for going above and beyond for a customer craving something you didn’t originally have on your menu! You have a customer for life! Me and hubby will be by in the next few days to try out your other items!!
Would give 4.5 if I could. Just tried Legends today. Got 2 Brisket sandwiches and an order of the seasoned fries. The order was brought fast and the girl was friendly. The Brisket sandwiches were awesome! The Brisket meat was melt in your mouth and spiced perfectly. I didn't need the BBQ sauce which was fine since my wife used hers and mine. The fries were old and crispy... not the best. Next time I order from here, I will be trying some other sides instead.
Ate there for the first time today and was blown away with the food and how fast it came. The staff was amazing and the food even better. So good my fiancé and I booked them to cater our wedding.
Portion sizes are really disappointing. I ordered burnt ends, but basically got 4 small pieces of super fatty brisket with hardly any char at all. This was $16. The baked beans were delicious and the flavor of the meet was good but the texture was awful.
First I have to say, I love the owners Kevin & Yvette. From a little bbq trailer to now a brick and mortar, I have followed them every step of the way. Their brisket is fantastic. The pork tacos and delicious white sauce are my fave!!!!! I could drink that sauce!!! I’m so happy for them and love watching them do their thing and do it well!!!
My spouse and I visited Legends Smokehouse and Grill for the first time this afternoon and was pleasantly surprised. The food was delicious and the staff was so kind. I had the brisket plate and my husband had the pulled pork sandwich. We were both satisfied with our choices and look forward to returning to try different menu options in the near future.
