Had the Big Porky...Cole slaw was creamy and went with the pulled pork perfectly...staff was friendly helpful and portions were more than enough Highly recommend if you're in the area
Big Porky with tots and Mac & Cheese was great. So were the Hush Puppies. Service was quick and friendly.
The absolute WORST BBQ I've ever eaten. It has zero taste and it's been in the ashes of the grill. Extremely DRY and tough. Spent 60 bucks on a family meal..threw it straight in the trash! DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY! HORRIBLE FOODYes I did purchase from you I got the family brisket meal with spaghetti side and greens..you didn't have mac n cheese and my wife wanted okra sir. It was dry and was not good AT ALL. Get off your high horse and accept criticism.
I wanted to love it. Last time I came here I had the pulled pork and it melted in my mouth. My hubby was skeptical, but I talked him into paying almost 60 bucks for a brisket family meal with greens, spaghetti, and okra. The only fresh item was the okra and The brisket was so dry and tough that we could hardly chew it and it tasted like it sat in the ashes at the bottom of the grill. I should’ve read the more recent reviews, bc there have been a lot more negative than there were when I ate here years ago. Disappointing.ETA…the sauce was great though
My husband and I came in for a date night and oh my the food was incredible. We both had pulled pork and it was amazing. I could drink the baked beans they were so good. Super friendly staff that made us feel comfortable. This place should be packed to the gills every day with how good everything was. We will be telling everyone we know about this place and we will be back!
Great people and great food. Such a friendly atmosphere and the food is awesome. Our first trip there we had the pulled pork sandwich, The Derty Dawg, Sausage, collard greens and the banana pudding. We went back today to try some other items on the menu, Brisket, Stuffed Baked Potato, Rack of Ribs and banana pudding. All of these were really good. I would highly recommend this place for BBQ. It was our pleasure to meet Jessie and Linda. Thank you Jessie for your service. Go get you some BBQ!!!
First time eating here and it was fantastic. The location looks a little hidden and we passed it at first in aneffirt to find it. My wife's birthday was around the corner and we wanted to try something new. We were looking for authentic BBQ, we're from Michigan and have only had half way decent BBQ. The atmosphere was very relaxing and the service was great, never once did I feel uncomfortable or unwelcome, the staff were actual people we had a conversation with before leaving. Now the food, the food was awesome to put it bluntly. I couldn't decide what to order everything looked great on the menu.. The meat was not dry at all and the signature BBQ sauce explodes with flavor. We are definitely making a repeat visit and our goto for BBQ and would recommend it to anyone, I'm eager to try everything the menu has to offer.
It was my husband and myself first time here and it was delicious. My husband had the ribs with collard greens and he can’t stop talking about it. I had the pork sandwich with slaw and baked beans, it was sooo delicious. Staff was very friendly and inviting. We definitely recommend this place. We will definitely be coming back to this awesome BBQ restaurant.
We were traveling through Clarksville when I googled bbq food and this place popped up. It did not disappoint we had the best meal ever with very friendly atmosphere!!! I recommend this place hands down and I hope to get back there again someday ??
Went to try this place for the 1st time because I heard good reviews. Went in with my granddaughter and immediately wasn't welcomed but was told get out or put a mask on. I then replied, "Do you have a mask?" And then OMG, the cook in the back came out and started yelling at me! In front of other customers and my granddaughter. Telling me that I don't demand a mask! I then replied that I didn't demand a mask, that I was simply asking to see if they had 1 that I could use since it was such an urgent issue or if I had to walk back to my car to get one. I even had paying customers leaving, feeling bad for me, telling me to have a good night with eyes of compassion. I finally got my food and proceeded home. After getting home and eating the food it was absolutely horrible. You can bet that I will never return ever again!!!!! This is the aust BBQ that I have ever eaten in my entire life! Wost customer service ever as well!
