Excell Barbque is always the best!!! Not only because the food is good, or because the employees are always nice,friendly, and helpful, but awhile back there was a story about the couple who now owns the store and the owner told his story about how one of the farmers showed him or taught him how to make good barbque.And y'all I had the honor to know,care for,and talk to the man he talked about. Mr.Walter Dyce you could not ask for a better,caring man then Mr. Dyce. So yeah anytime y'all want some damn good barbque head on down to Excell Market. Guaranteed YOU WON'T BE DISAPPOINTED.
Over all was a little confused about how ot worked, but it is a mom and pops so it's what you should expect. The BBQ is amazing, I enjoy lots of sauce with it but you don't need it for the good flavor. The coconut cream pie was amazing. The cream was rich and the filling was perfect on its own, heck even the crust at the end of the slice was amazing.
Very friendly staff, good prices. Get there before they're busy cause you'll be in line for a while; it's worth it though!
I wouldn't feed that chili to my dog!! No pride in there establishment or food don't know how they won any awards with that garbage there serving. Won't be back

This is hole in the wall.Service was okay.Plenty of parking.This bbq joing is inside a convenience store. I got my food to go. Not sure if there are eat in options.Difficult to see store sign from road. Sign is small. GPS the locationDidnt have ribs when i went. Believe they only have them on Fri, Sat, Sun. Odered pulled pork.The pulled pork was moist, had good meat and smoke flavor. Didnt taste much of other seasonings. The sauce for pulled pork is thin vinegar base.Bought macaroni salad, baked beans and coleslaw. They were okay. Beans tasted similar to canned beans. I liked coleslaw best. I gave it 4 stars because pulled pork was good
