Normally things are good here but this time it wasn't. Didn't get the Queso cheese until did came out. Then it was cold and clumpy. Which the server then stated that it wasn't ready that why it didn't come out before the food. The Chimichanga wasn't fried crispy like I asked. It was soft and was ok. Finally the server avoided my table the time there before/after dropping off food. Had to flag another server to get any service. This is why they get a 3 star today.
Really great Mexican restaurant! Our waiter was attentive, the decor is cool, and the food is AMAZING. We'll definitely be back!
Late night me and my fiance decided to stop in and the food was well cooked and very wonderful, the music wasn't over bearing and the server attended to our needs. She had braces so don't remember her name but she was very nice and sweet and gave us excellent customer service! Tacos El Toro was delicious and season well and my fiance had carne asada and she said it was delicious and cooked well. The only thing was the tortillas weren't fully cooked but still edible. Overall I loved it for a late night dinner and definitely will be coming back soon another time like tonight ?
Waited for 10 minutes just wanting to get seated with multiple employees walking past me and didn’t even say a word, they would just stare at you the whole time, not even a we’ll be with you in a minute! Service used to be great but, I don’t know what happened! You would be better off taking your business elsewhere!
Service has really gone down the toilet. Wife and I waited for a long time behind a party of 13 to be seated. Servers had to have a 15 minute meeting to figure out how to seat them. When it was our turn to be seated they were out of tables. Go somewhere else!! We will not be back.
My wife and I have been coming here since they opened. Love the quality of food, great margaritas (house and choice) and servers always friendly. Seen so many changes. Staffing is difficult due to Covid. We're always patient and appreciative.
I have about 7 Mexican restaurants between my house and El Toro but I will go well out of my way any time I eat Mexican food! Eating in or carrying out, the food is always phenomenal, and the drinks are strong. Thanks, El Toro! I'll see you again soon!
Really hated that they quit the buffet it was great for the people that didn't know what they wanted. They have a great variety of different things on the menu to try. I tried the baked potatoe loaded with all the meats green peppers & onions w cheese sauce. It was delicious will definitely be back
Arrived and waited to be seated after another party. Customer said she had been waiting 5 or so minutes to be seated. She and I continued to wait before a hostess asked her how many were I her party. Hostess was anything but welcoming or friendly. No one came to talk to us or explain the reason for delay. My daughter used the restroom and said it was disgusting. The exterior door window was filthy. We decided to leave and won't be back.
I tried El Toro for the first time yesterday and it was excellent all around! The margaritas are GREAT, the food is fresh and delicious, and the service is outstanding! Very friendly staff. Will definitely be back!
