One of the better Mexican restaurants in Clarksville. No wait. Food came out fast. Everything was tasty. Good salsa. Cheese dip was average. Margaritas are pretty decent.
Wanted to try the new Birria tacos. These are hands down delicious!! Staff is always friendly, some days it can become super busy. If you like a nice cold margarita, there’s are yummy!!
Visited on a Tuesday for lunch and we were seated promptly. I noticed the table and floors were clean. The food was spot-on with large portions (did not order from lunch menu). Their spicy salsa could've been hotter but the taste was on point. Guacamole was chunky and and the standard salsa was fresh. Our drinks stayed full and the margarita was strong. Couldn't have asked for a better experience. Worth the 25 min drive.
The food here is very tasty, with reasonable portions. The staff are nice, and the atmosphere is comfortable. It was my first time coming, and I'm definitely coming back.
The food we delicious but the service can be worked on. Good atmosphere. Servers back and forward around you and no one wants to say hey. Need customer service training.
Ate here for the first time last night and had a great experience. I got the shrimp chimichanga which was delicious. Usually whenever I order this at other restaurants (even though there is usually an up charge) I only get like 3-4 pieces of shrimp. However here it was really great quality and packed with shrimp. My kids got the kids seafood and the nuggets and fries. The kids seafood wasn’t much food, my daughter got 6 pieces of shrimp and ordered a fruit as her side (which ended up being a store bought cup of fruit, hopefully this is a covid precaution and not a regularly side). Her meal was the only reason I left a 4 star, she was still hungry when she cleared her plate. My son’s nuggets and fries was plenty. We also ordered cheese dip which was a great taste and consistency. The salsa was great as well. Inside was clean and employees were friendly. Definitely going back!
I've eaten here in person and gotten take-out plenty of times, and the food is genuinely good. But they're so ridiculously hard to get hold of on the phone to place an order. There have been several nights where they just don't pick up at all, and most recently I tried calling 4 times in a row just for them to pick up and then set the phone down each time - I could hear a bunch of voices in the background, but nobody said a word to me. It was as if they didn't want me to order anything and waited for me to give up. It's a shame because I WANT to eat here, but it's a grab bag on what their mood will be.
The food was better than what I remember from the last time I visited. I called 2x to put in an order so I wouldn't have to wait, but both times the phone was picked up and pretty much placed down....As you can see I'm like 2 mins in walking distance from them. I understand things get busy, but it was inconvenient for me to have to go there to put my order in and wait. The margarita was pretty watery not what I was use to. Lastly I ordered a wet grilled chicken burrito along with my carne asada fries but got a steak burrito.
I had high hopes for this place based on reviews, but was sorely disappointed. We were seated quickly, and the very pleasant waitress took our order quickly. My El Bracero Margarita was great, The food, howver, was mediocre at best. I ordered a combo with a shrimp empanada and a beef soft taco. The shrimp in the empanada was overcooked and chewy; the taco lacked any hint of any type of seasoning. I asked for hot sauce to attempt to add some flavor; it took 10 minutes to arrive by which time I had eaten my food.
First time visit. Great frozen margaritas, good food. Friendly staff.Will be returning next time in the Clarksville area.
