Good burger. Good price for the size. Extremely helpful counter person helped us for our first time. When we ordered she assumed we want a 'tray'' which is their combo but we quickly got it right. Wife says the Cajun seasoning on the chicken is too salty so she only ate half of the sandwich. If I lived here I'd come back and try more options. Very good prices!

Briefly, it's not good BBQ. But it's the best $6 BBQ you'll ever have.I'm from a part of the south where Cook Out isn't so this was my first time having it. Second time too, because I came back. First time I had a platter - pulled pork sandwich with fries and slaw and cheerwine. Didn't realize the sandwich came Memphis style or I would have gotten a different side than slaw, I was planning on slapping it on the bun. It was underwhelming - dry, undersauced, the steak fries unseasoned. But for fast food what the hell do you want. Season your own damn fries. And $7 a plate for the combo isn't bad at all. My companion had a chicken sandwich combo, had a lukewarm opinion on the sandwich but loved the fries. The second time, I dined in and had a BBQ platter. I'm not a big soda person so this was a much better buy. Scoop of pulled pork, slaw on the side with fries and hush puppies for $5.80 something. Everything tasted the same, but again for $6 you can't expect Tennessee's finest BBQ. I'd put it up against something like Sonny's or Bucee's or even Wawa - fast, convenient, and better than it has a right to be for the price, but not life changing. If I need a quick stop on the highway Cook Out is in the rotation but I'm not going out of my way for it.

It was my first time trying this place and I was excited. I had to wait on the street because traffic was crazy. Finally get to the drive through and waited behind the same two cars that were there the whole time I was waiting out on the street. It's finally my turn. I informed the worker that I need some time before it was my first time here. There is a lot to read through to try and figure out what to get. I don't think I was there very long before some one was asking to take my order, I informed them that I was still deciding. They came back with that I should come inside to decide. I told them that I would just leave. They said thank you to us living. Tone speaks louder than just words. It was not kind. I'm sorry for taking time to decide what to order from a place I have no clue about. If I was able to come inside to order I would have. People use the drive through for a reason. My excitement turned to frustration.

Drive thru service was absolute trash that glared at us through the window when they got our drinks wrong. They still got it wrong. Burgers were dry and burned to a crisp. We won't be returning here.

Cook Out burger has been my go to since there are no In-n-Outs in Tennesee. Usually they're pretty generous with the meat but today I went for the usual and Holy Cow, the menu has changed; what they called a double was basically a McDonald's burger patty cooked, cook out style; 1/3rd the usual meat, with twice as much bread for the same price. Tracking, Brandon has done wonders to our economy since taking office so I empathize.. service is still good and quick but, going to start making my burgers at home from now on. The value is just not there anymore.

We enjoy coming here to get supper. We really lime their food. We only wish that they could open their dining area and not just take-out.

Best and cheapest burgers in town

Their service is great. Lines are typically slow and long. Which could be from being short staffed. The part that irks me more than anything. Their prices are different every time I go through the line. I could order the same thing and the next day the price will be a dollar higher/lower. They really need to have accurate prices on their food.

Portion sizes are poor. Almost comically small. People are amazed at how much you can get for so little. Quantity of entrees is different than size of each entree. A1 burger was disappointing as I could not tasteA1. Side were great. All 4 onion rings and 6 cheese curds. I leave this review as I have had the same every visit.

First visit, and the hype was absolutely correct. From ordering at the drive through to getting my order took maybe 2 minutes. Naturally this had me worried, especially since the guy on the microphone hadn't read back my order and was confident. But sure enough I get exactly what I ordered. Huge Burger, cheddar style with fries and a bottled water. Needless to say am fat and happy.
