Friendly service and awesome food! I got a seafood platter and everything on my plate was delicious from the catfish to the fried corn.
One of the best places I’ve eaten. The staff were amazing people. Don’t miss this place if your ever in the area !
Awesome place to eat family owned and operated and outstanding service and food. We will definitely come back.
I ate here with friends I served with in the 101st back in the 80’s. Service was great and the catfish platter as I expected really good. Stuffed about half way through the meal. Lots of families and friends seemed to be at this Clarksville favorite.
We've been to Catfish House several times and had an excellent experience each time! The food is overall very good - and the catfish is always the star of the show. I usually opt for the grilled Cajun catfish but I always end up stealing some of my husband's fried catfish strips as well. I highly recommend the hush puppies - they are delicious, and perfectly fried. All in all, great comfort food served by nice people. The setting is one of our favorite things about the Catfish House. It's nestled across the river from Clarksville, set in a really pretty hollow. We've seen deer next to the restaurant, and groundhogs and lots of birds as well. It's a beautiful spot, especially in the fall, and in my opinion, one of the best eateries in Clarksville.
Service was great, setting is beautiful and peaceful, omg the shrimp are too awesome, not to mention the fish!!!
O.M.G... I was next to this place getting a smoker at Lowe's and I was hungry...I found the place on Google and I went over there. Oh my gosh let me tell you! I have never had more professional and kind service, more attention paid to my experience. The fried catfish there is absolutely fantastic, and you cannot get it better anywhere else, and you can trust me on that...the house-made hushpuppies are the BEST! The House Salad is unique, but familiar, cold...fresh and a perfect precursor to the fish! Please try it (when I am not there)....
Wonderful food and wonderful staff! It was worth the wait on Mother's Day! Thank you Cindy for finding my crippled mother a walker to use the restroom with bc her wheelchair was inadvertently taken out of her car. She was so happy after she took one bite ?❤️
Overall good food (the coleslaw is absolutely NOT GOOD.) And the service was really good the two times we went. The chicken was great and one of the better items that they have. Some of the other food items were a under seasoned. But still a decent place to go to if you want to try some fish and/or chicken. It was not loud the times we went. Plenty of parking and the long road they have is nice due to having good scenery. I would not try to attempt going during bad weather though due to the road incline and drop off next to it.
Been patronizing this restaurant since before their move to the current spot and the food has really gone down hill. Took the family out for Easter dinner and all the food was bland, tasteless and covered with a thick breading, the steamed veggies were way over cooked and mushy, I asked to exchange the veggies for onion rings and was charged a dollar for doing so, the onion rings were just as bad, the super thin catfish fillets were tasteless and mushy, hush puppies were also bland and tasteless. My daughter had the seafood platter and again had to dig through thick batter to find the very small amount of seafood, it tasted like everything had been cooked in the same pot. The only decent part of the meals were the cole slaw and fried okra appetizer. Prices have gone up but the food quality and taste has severely gone down. They used to be the best around the area for catfish dinners but not so anymore. Spoke with the manager and all he said was “I’ll speak with the kitchen”! I won’t be going back, it was a big disappointment,
