The garlic crust on pizza is yummy and I highly recommend the Whitehorse pizza. The service was great and the price wasn't too bad either.It is great to have them back!! We've missed you!
Black horse was recommended to me by a friend who used to live in Clarksville. We had a group of 12 for lunch today (Monday, Juneteenth being observed.) It was busy, but one of our group got there early and secured a place in line for our arrival. Across our group, we ordered several different menu items and everyone said their food was delicious. A burger, flatbreads, shrimp tacos, lemon-chicken pita, salad. Only complaint was that one order of sweet potato fries were a little overcooked... the other two orders at the table were perfect. Our server, Genna, was very friendly and did a great job juggling our group.
Food was great, as always, but service leaves a little to be desired. They were probably short staffed the Tuesday night I was there, but it took over an hour for my food to arrive after placing my order. I would still recommend this place, especially the beer cheese dip! Don't forget to take home a six pack of your favorite Black Horse brew. I recommend the vanilla bean brew!
I am so very thrilled that the Blackhorse has reopened after the fire! It is as amazing as ever! Great beer! Great staff! Amazing pizza! And the beer cheese is a MUST have! I had their fried green tomatoes for the first time and they were delicious! I'd give it more than 5 stars of I could!
I just visited after about 7 years, still the same great charm and ambience I remembered. Then I found out they had a huge fire that closed them for nearly 2 years.I'm happy to say that they still have one of the greatest staff, black and tan, and their pizza is still delicious.
Ate here on Thursday night. Line outside for tables, so I sat at the bar. Couple next to me were very friendly. Even offered me a piece of pizza which was great. I opted for the cowboy burger and fries. It was served in a timely manner and was cooked to order. Burger and fries were above average. I also had 2 cocktails- a Manhattan and an old fashioned. They were made correctly. Good drinks/not great. The bartender was very friendly. I would definitely eat here again.
Good was excellent, had to be some of the best Pork chops I've ever had from a restaurant. The cheese board is a must!! The other parties meals were just as good. Definitely plan to return.

I've been here before their reopening and like many others were sad was to see them close due to the fire as well as anxiously awaiting their reopening. Their grand reopening happened to occur on my birthday so I just had I celebrate both of our days there! Excellent food, Excellent service, and of course Excellent beer! You can't go wrong with the old pub atmosphere either! I definitely recommend stopping by, grabbing a cold one and at least ordering their famous beer cheese if not going all in and getting one of their delicious pizzas!
Came for the first time in a long while and was so happy to try the beer cheese dip. I was bummed to see that Nutella French toast was discontinued from the brunch menu, but was pleased by a very decent Chicken & Waffles. I also enjoyed my drink.
