We passed by the Your Local Seitanist after missing a turn to downtown Chattanooga. We stopped on a whim and ended up eating the best burger we have ever experienced, vegan or otherwise. This is a must have meal if you are in the area.
O.M.G. this place was AMAZING!!!! We saw this cute little restaurant on our drive to a different place and decided to stop here instead and I'm so glad we did! I got the Grinder Meal Deal and my boyfriend ordered the Chicken Salad Croissant (he's a meat eater and said it tasted just like chicken!)I can't wait for our next trip here! Also got a chance to speak with the owner, who was so so sweet and was Killin' it in the kitchen making the food! Thanks y'all!
Let me just start off by saying as a Native Philadelphian who has enjoyed many vegan cheesesteaks in my life, this was one of the best. Most certainly the best vegan cheesesteak I’ve ever had outside of Philly, and it gives the ones in philly a run for their money. I was so impressed with it. Textually perfect, seasoning and ingredients on point. To top it off, they say hoagie roll on their menu! That’s bonus points in my book.Now for the rest of the food….Also delicious! The bacon chicken ranch sandwich was excellent. Crispy, crunchy goodness on a bun.The Cuban and the chicken buf. We’re also really good.The fried pickles were outstanding. The vegan ranch was some of the best vegan ranch I’ve had.The desert selection was solid as well. Some of it was a little on the sweeter side for my tastes, but still good.I usually don’t like fries that are not super crispy, but even the fries hit the spot.The staff was awesome. Reminded me of some of my best friends from back home. Got to chat it up about the local music scene and was made to feel welcomed. I’d honestly go back just for the people.I wish they were open 24/7 because I’d make the journey out more often. great good / great people. Can’t ask for more.
Amazing service, music and food! I am hooked! So glad we tried this place and will definitely be back. Pictured are the BBQ fries and I seriously loved them so much!! Everything was delicious.
One of my favorite restaurants in Chattanooga!! Everything is completely vegan (although you’d have no idea)! I got the spicy chicken sandwich, and fries.. seriously SO good. And don’t even get me started on the desserts! Absolute perfection. There are constantly new specials every week and this spot never misses. I love how awesome the interior is as well. Such cool eclectic decor. Definitely a vibe! Go check it out yourself! ?
Ordered two of the 'sauced tender plates'. Total came out to 30 dollars. Prices here have jumped recently-- you would think the food quality would have as well. Description for my order said '3-4 tenders, slaw, tots, and dipping sauce'. I received 2.5 tenders, all of which were drenched in hot sauce that was inedibly salty, not crispy at all-- I would describe it as slimy. No tots, but had some store bought waffle fries. Dipping sauces included some mayonnaise concoction and ketchup. No slaw was included. I picked up my order from the store, drove home and went to eat it. Unfortunately I realized soon that it wasn't anything like what was listed vaguely on the site. I called the store to request a refund, and was told to go through Instagram to get my refund. I messaged the page and was told that I could only receive a partial refund since my food wasn't returned to the store within the hour of picking it up... I wasn't about to drive 30 minutes back to the place to get a refund. I expressed this, but was not granted a full refund. The entire conversation via instagram (strange method of disputing orders?) seemed very unhelpful, the user seemed annoyed that I was claiming that the order was inadequate. They have now changed the order description on their site to not include tots or slaw, wonder why that is lol. Won't be returning. Either extremely bland or overly salty/spicy, unhelpful customer service.
I wish we could have eaten in because we were traveling a long distance. Regardless, the food was good, particularly the waffle potato nachos!
Customer service was great! Restaurant was dingy and lacked ambiance. It smelled like old grease. Which explains why the fries were soggy and greasy. I was excited to try the Cuban sandwich. The sandwich reminded me of a dry bologna sandwich. I also ordered the honey bbq wings. The sauce is amazing the seitan has a funny taste to it. That isn’t so pleasant. The food is subpar at best.
Came for the ?? , stayed for the ???Food is cooked to perfection and the people who work here are the best.Some of the most realistic vegan dupes for fried chicken, roast beef, ham, etc. I’m used to a vegan chicken sandwich being more or less a fried brick of tofu but this chicken sandwich is fried so crispy and the inside actually has a realistic chicken texture.
I wanted to love them, and thought I did, but the chicken sandwiches are SO bland! Rubbery and just plain tough to eat. Along with the chicken n waffles, I’ve never had a waffle so bland! The only thing I can recommend is the honey butter chikn biscuit :( unfortunately the last straw for me was the Thanksliving box that I ordered. Most of it was inedible, slimy, rubbery and just bland. Really wanted to like them
