Absolutely the dirtiest waffle house I have ever been in. The only customers in there and we had to look for a clean table. 1 server. Handed us one menu and wiped our table with a dry rag after we asked for a wipe. She disappeared. The cook took our order and fixed our food. Waitress showed up to deliver our food. Then she left. When I was almost finished eating I found what look to be a roaches leg on my plate. Horrible experience. Stay away from this one.
Kristy the manager was sooo rude to ppl. That was my first time ever eating at that waffle house. She didn't want to tell me her name and she is the manager. Another worker had to tell me her name. I wanted my steak cooked well done and she told the cook medium well. She was intentionally very rude. I would not recommend her to work for anyone with a attitude like that. I will not be back to you all establishment. You definitely lost a good customer.
Wasn't busy only 2 tables had people in them. Went and sat down for 15 minutes before we left without ordering. The staff would walk right past us without saying a word filling up other people's coffee and would rather talk to themselves or the other customers, we sat right where the waitress has to walk past us too so and right by the cooking area so there was no way no one saw us would not recommend going to this waffle house.
This is by far the nastiest, dirtiest restaurant I've ever visited. Do not eat at this location. We were desperate for breakfast, and stopped at Waffle House, as they are (usually) consistent in quality. At least I thought so until our visit to this one (store #387). Cleanliness and housekeeping were the worst I"'ve seen in 28 years of travel. The counter & tables were sticky and visibly dirty. Tables with dirty dishes were left uncleared as a few customers straggled in and waited for a place to sit. Most new customers turned around and walked out at the sight of the seating area. Dining area floors were caked with enough dirt and grime that footprints were visible on the ground as you walked across the room. Food prep area was stacked with dirty dishes. Griddle cooktop was brown with old, burnt grease. Waffle makers were surrounded by batter drippings 6 inches tall on the surrounding countertop. Dirty silverware was provided to us to eat our meal. The waitresses were observed sorting thru a 1 gallon pail of (seemingly unwashed) silverware to find some pieces that looked somewhat clean. After wiping the silverware clean with their fingers they were placing that dirty silverware on the table with new place settings! We aquired sets of individually wrapped plasticware to eat our meals. Our meals were improperly cooked. The Cheese steak meat was burned to charcoal, the sausage patty was incompletely cooked and cold in the middle. Hash browns tasted like burnt oil from the griddle. When we made our dissatisfaction known to the waitress, the shift manager quipped "well, I guess give them 1/2 price off of one of their meals since they ate most of it..." DO NOT EAT AT THIS LOCATION
I arrived at shift change. Even through the confusion of that the crew where fast, friendly, and all in all made every customer feel welcome! The food was perfect!
I love waffle house. but this one has very poor service
I showed up about the same time a shift change was supposed to take place so my service was delayed and
This place was great. People were friendly food came out exactly as ordered. The waiter even checked the ticket and corrected the problem. This waffle house is on 23rd street in Chattanooga
I am personally a big fan of waffle house and this place disappointed me, not clean, gave food it tiny portions and with plastic utensils while they have a big pile of dishes. I also felt scammed when ordered a simple all star meal that is 12-13 dollars and my partner ordered a simple waffle with hash brownsand it came out to 23.50!! UNBELIEVABLE!!
This Waffle House is one of the few that staff totally get the Spirit of Waffle House. The team work was awesome to watch. And them scattered well hashbrowns were the bomb.
