This is the best fried catfish I’ve ever had. Fried Tilapia was great too. Also don’t pass up the turnip greens and onion rings. Only downer here was dirty coed restroom.
Uncle Larry's is a such a great establishment! Their food is delicious! The catfish is one in a million! Honestly, everything is delicious! The staff is wonderful as well! The hush puppies and onion rings are bartered perfectly! I could go on and on. Stop reading this review and go try their food. You won't be disappointed! ?We will be coming back!
This place was absolutely the best!!!!! Our waiter, Terrell was a gem! He made sure our food was good and we had everything we needed. I highly recommend Uncle Larry’s to anyone from and visiting the area! The food, service and prices were great! A+
Wow! Great food and service. I'm not even a fish guy, but the catfish is great and their smash sauce is good too. My wife saw all the great reviews and she picked a gem. All the great reviews are spot on. The food really is very good. True Southern cooking at its best. We also got a pork chop sandwich, which was very good also, nice and tender. You can't get food like this in California!
THE BEST Fried catfish, melts in your mouth. Don't forget to leave room for dessert, especially the Key Lime Cake!

1st time here usually come down often from Nashville to visit the area. Found this restaurant on food network and gave it a try. The cajun fish was tasty the whitening had very few bones. The mac n cheese was definitely a disappointment and seemed microwaved. Took one bite and yuck! Would go back for fish only.
Wonderful service, clean environment, and wonderful food. Rell and Vin were so attentive and ready to serve. The smack sauce was great with the onion rings, and the Cajun batter complimented the shrimp perfectly. A great dinner experience with some southern hospitality.
We stopped here today at the Brainerd love cation for dinner. It's takeout only, though there is a picnic table on site. I had the pork chops and my partner had catfish. OUTSTANDING! Crisp, hot, flavorful. Everything you would want. Hush puppies were awesome. Highly recommend. The folks here were super nice.
