The ice cream was great and the little shop itself is a unique shop itself. It's a little on the pricey side but being able to pick so many different items for your ice cream itself makes it fine. And after being a hit day it really hit the spot
Best ice cream I’ve ever had!! You start by choosing a base (chocolate, vanilla, or yogurt) and then choose your mix-ins, after which they blend your ice cream individually. Their mix-in list is HUGE! They have several options for cones, but for cups it was $4.90 for the regular size, $6.60 for an extra scoop, and $0.60 per mix-in ($0.85 for premium mix-ins). I got the chocolate base and went a little wild with my toppings by getting three - brownie, cookie dough, and marshmallow. It was so so good and creamy. We liked it so much we came back again the next day! The line out the door should tell you this place is that good - you won’t be disappointed and the line goes by faster than you think. It will be worth it! :)
We decided to come here as it has a great review score on Google…a 4.6 to be exact. Sadly, we were dissatisfied as well as disappointed! I decided to get the coconut cream in a yogurt ice cream, my daughters both got the mango ice cream one in a cup and one in a waffle cone. While there’s several flavors one can choose from and that could be catchy all of our ice creams tasted like vanilla. No hint of any of the Flavors we requested. While this is a great location to stop by before and or after crossing the Walnut Street Pedestrian Bridge, I do not recommend. A bit pricey for getting nothing but vanilla ice cream!!!
The concept is great. (You pick topping to mix into your ice cream.) The toppings are great. The ice cream is what you’d expect. The issue is the machine they use to mix all your toppings into the ice cream disintegrates them so badly that you can’t even tell if they are in there. It kind of just turns the chocolate or vanilla ice cream into a new creation flavor. So instead of tasting chunks like a DQ blizzard it’s just a new flavor of soft serve ice cream. Not sure if I explained that well. Not bad ice cream just kind of misses the mark with the concept.
Cool ice cream shop in a great location next to the pedestrian bridge. It works by first picking if you want vanilla, chocolate ice cream or frozen yogurt as your base then you can select from 40 different topics that get blended into your ice cream. You have the choice between a cone and a cup and your charged according with how many toppings you pick. I got a vanilla ice cream with Irish cream and butterfinger in a waffle cone, I think they forgot the Irish cream because I never tasted that. It cost almost $7 for one ice cream so it’s quite pricey but it’s in a prime location
Ice cream was delicious, and the staff were great! They kindly asked if we had been there before and explained how to order. Everyone from the cashier to the waffle cone maker and the person actually blending the ice cream was so nice! :)
it was too cold for ice cream the particular night we visited so we opted for hot chocolates. Was disappointed it was the add water to powder kind ? the kids loved the inside.
A must visit when you visit downtown Chattanooga. Be prepared to wait in line if you come on weekends though! It can be long, although it moves quite fast. The workers are working like crazy back there. They have a long list of ingredients you can mix in with your ice cream, it could be overwhelming. It can be pricey if you add more than one. (I think it’s 60 cents/mix in no matter what) So pick wisely.
We came to this shop with high hopes based on the menu we looked at online. We were very disappointed. When we got to the register the person taking orders seemed very annoyed already and when my wife asked for the dairy-free ice cream that was mentioned online he said that they don't carry that. So she asked for two peach, apricot, orange sorbet. I went back outside where my brother was watching our toddler to wait with them. When my wife came out and handed me the sorbet I took one lick and recoiled because there was no flavor whatsoever coming through. She tried hers and said that she could only taste apricot. I tried hers and while it did taste a little more sweetness, it was not much. It was incredibly crowded inside the shop so we just suffered through the cones. Also, the sign in front of the store advertised "Frosty Paws" ice cream for dogs, but when we tried to order some for my brother's dog the person at the register acted like he'd never heard of that in his life. When we clarified with "ice cream for dogs" he just acted more annoyed and said, "It's just ice cream." Never going back.
Made a visit to the Ice Cream Show based on the reviews and I have to say I was not disappointed! I am a soft serve junkie and I could probably make a different combo everyday and be satisfied. They were busy but the line moved swiftly. The employees and other customers were friendly. Take a walk across the old railroad or enjoy the music outside. This is a can’t miss!
