Came for my Birthday and had a blast! Great atmosphere and even better food! This is a must to add to your list for Chattanooga. The "Oh Hale Naw" dry rub is super hot and they even have a challenge for it!!!
If you love spicy food, this is for you. Great flavor and heat combo on the chicken. BE WARE, the hot spice level will burn like their chicken logo, and I love and eat spicy chicken all the time. Don’t even think about their extra hot spice “aw hell naw”, unless you’re a sadist. Sides of mac n cheese and greens were tasty as well.
First time finally being able to eat here. It was great! Loved the flavor of everything! Made me think of my grandma's home cooked meals growing up. My husband decided to get the medium wings and catfish and immediately understood why our server tried to tell him to get mild if he didn't like hot hot stuff. I got mild and it still had a little kick but it was a much appreciated kick of spice. They hand grind all the spices and make everything in house, even the sauces. We will DEFINITELY be back for more! Our server was amazing also. Loved the hospitality!
The name says it all. If you're a hot & spicy food enthusiast this is your spot. Work close by and have ate here with coworkers a few times now. Have only tried the chicken and a variety of sides which are delicious but will be returning to try some other menu options. Employees are very friendly and helpful if you have any questions. Highly recommend.
Absolutely fantastic. We found this gym thanks to a car show derailing our original dinner plans. BEST ACCIDENT EVER! The feel is warm and inviting, the people were friendly, the place was clean and had a great vibe. Not to mention the food. The food ALONE was enough to make my experience great the chicken is some of the best I've ever had and at a fraction of the cost. You will not be disappointed heading into the flaming rooster for dinner!
Me and my husband went here for my birthday and I ordered the 4 wing plate with a side of Mac and fries. I got 3 of the hot flavor and 1 oh hale naw (order with caution). The chicken was perfect for a hot food lover like myself. They also have plain fried chicken for non thrill seekers. The food was AMAZING and the 2 waitresses were so friendly and personable. Even though we live in Atlanta, we will be back!!
The best Nashville style chicken I've ever tried. Flavorful, spicy and crunchy! We went there after a day at the Rock City Gardens place and we wanted to eat some southern food. Definitely I'm glad we chose that place. We had the 10 piece meal with coleslaw, baked beans and mac and cheese on the side. Everything was delicious and tasty. I do recommend to order in advance if you're doing take out. We had to wait over 30 minutes (they make the chicken on the spot) to get our order ready but thanks to Ran, our hostess, we didn't bother the wait. She engaged with us all the time, apologized for the wait, offered us something to drink and also gave us a piece of chocolate cake for free. I can't describe how decadent and mouthwatering the cake was. I you ever in the area I do recommend you stop in this little gem, you won't be disappointed.
No pics because we cleaned our plates. Not only is the food delicious, but the customer service was off the chart. I ordered the wing platter. My niece had chicken & waffles. My brother ordered the whiting fish/wing platter. EVERYTHING was perfectly cooked and seasoned. We really enjoyed the R&B tunes in the background. I will always come here when visiting Chattanooga. Don’t miss out!
I’ve traveled to more than 30 countries across 4 continents and this is hands down the best hot chicken I have ever had.Highly recommend the wings. Medium was plenty hot. The staff are friendly, kind and polite.Definitely get the chocolate cake if you have room. Can’t wait to come back!
Great southern food! Careful, even the Slight is pretty spicy. Kid friendly. The staff was amazing! All sides were also super tasty as well as the chicken. Would visit again!
