This was such a cute location- an old gas station. It has plenty of outside seating under the covering. The inside seating was still open as well. The line at the restaurant moved quickly. You could tell this was a popular local place. It was dog friendly; I enjoyed seeing all the cute floofs. Food was delicious and it had some great specials for brunch.
Rachael, Kat, and the entire staff from start to finish were phenomenal, even on a very busy Sunday! We traveled from Atlanta to eat here and were not disappointed at all. Well worth the trip!I had the brunch sampler with the beignets and biscuits and the mango jam is to die for. Sooooo good. I also had the lavender latte, veggie plate which were delightful. *Chef’s kiss* I would totally come back just to eat here.
On our way back from Florida Beaches we stayed in Chattanooga for the evening. For breakfast we went over to the Northshore area for breakfast and stumbled upon the Daily Ration. The girls at the counter welcomed us in and patiently took our order. We had a fairly large group ready to eat a good breakfast. We started with the beignets, which came out hot and crispy. Best I have ever had. When the rest of our food came it was all hot, fresh and came out all together. The waitresses did an excellent job with drinks and making sure we had what we needed once all the food was brought to our table. The food and service was excellent. Pictures posted.
Great atmosphere and outdoor seating area that is mostly covered so you can sit in the shade. They also had live music with a band playing music but the music was a bit too loud, it made it hard to converse with friends because we had to talk loudly over the music. The place is buzzing and full of young people in groups, it’s a great place to grab brunch. Try to come early to avoid a long wait. They don’t take resos and it’s first come first served. You order at the counter then find seating and they’ll bring you your food. The menu has lots of choices we got the southern eggs Benedict, the kimchi bowl and a chicken pita. The food was all good and prices were reasonable.
On the hunt for The best pimiento cheese in Chattanooga I came across a white cheddar roasted red pepper pimiento cheese at the Daily Rations. It was excellent and highly recommend. It was served cold with toasted sourdough and a side of sweet pickles. I definitely liked it but maybe in a second place with the public house.
Great, super-relaxed outdoor dining. Excellent biscuits and cappuccino. Pet friendly.
Our server Regan T was very welcoming and pleasant and offered suggestions. I had the veggie burrito, I appreciated the vegan chorizo and the potatoes were nicely spiced. We were brought local hot sauces to try which was fun. Would recommend!
Delicious food! Love sitting outside. Servers were friendly and helpful.
What a great brunch spot! The service was quick (both ordering and receiving our order) even though the line looked long initially. My Americano was decent, and my Spicy Bloody Mary hit the spot. The Southern Eggs Benedict was perfect; ever flavor worked so well together, from the delicious sourdough to the amazing pimento cheese to the greens on top. The waffle my daughter ate was amazing as well. If I'm ever in Chattanooga again, I'll definitely be back!
The food here is great! We try to come here for breakfast or brunch every so often. The prices are a bit too high for the food they offer, alot of what I order here I recreate afterwards at home for $3-5, but it is the nice novelty of eating somewhere else and getting new inspiration what keeps bringing me back. Their drink menu is great, also overpriced but hey that's what you get for going to brunch. They also have a large outdoor seating section, which is great for bringing your dog. Although as it does rain alot here, I would recommend going somewhere else if the weather is bad as a majority of their seating is outdoor and the indoor space is very limited.
