Such a fun time! Had a blast! Food is only okay, but the drinks were great. And of course, the comedian was hilarious.
Went there for the first time on June 11th to see James Gregory but he had to cancel. We decided to stay and I'm sure glad we did. All the comedians that night were really good. We definitely laughed alot!!! That was such a good stress reliever for me. It was my brother and 82 yr old mother who were there with me. My mother had never been to see a comedian in person and she sure enjoyed it too! The food was excellent and the service too! The whole place was so nice and I had no idea all of that was at the Choo Choo! Plan on going back in December when James Gregory is scheduled...???
Lots of fun. Enjoyed the show. Waitress staff was great. The food was just ok, but drinks were wonderful. Next time I’m town will definitely do this one again.
Bring earplugs if ypu don't want hearing damage. For some reason they turn the mic volume up way too loud. Otherwise, it is a good time.
The comedy shows are great! They usually always are sold out or near capacity which is fine. Drinks are a big hit too, however the food is not worth the money. Everytime I've been its over cooked or just super bland. Still a great place to go! It's not like it's a 5 star restaurant so I didn't expect much but after going to over 2 dozen shows and out of that ordering food about half the time, I would expect something to change about the food being overcooked after numerous times complaining.
I was a patron at the Comedy Catch recently. I was extremely shocked and appalled at the blatantly racist comic (main performer) that they had perform. It clearly reflects a complete disregard by this establishment and reflects they’re complacence in giving comedians who are racist and hateful a platform. I would recommend you not visit and spend your hard earned money at this place.Reply to owner's response: If you believe there was nothing racist I would ask you to post a link that shows the main act performing on 2/5 at the 7:30pm show and prove me wrong.
Had so much fun! Went to see Dale Jones on 2/19/22.. laughed so hard my face hurt! Will definitely go see him again!
The food is way overpriced for bar food. But most places are. The servers were great. And depending on who you see you can have a great time.
My husband and I are very grateful that stand-up is back in person. We try to go once a month (wearing our masks for safety), and have always enjoyed ourselves, especially after a Giggle Juice or two!
We had a wonderful time watching David Scott perform comedy. The staff was great and the food was awesome! We drive from Alabama because it is always worth the drive.
