Monday is drag show bingo. We had a fantastic time!
I came to big chill today an everyone ordered a lemon drop shot an for whatever reason mines did not come with alcohol. Neither did any of the ladies I was with. I asked for another an they brought me lemon vodka. Then I said it’s still not a lemon drop. Where’s my lemon an The Manager brought me lemon. Guess I’m my own bartender SMH below is proof!!!!
A fun, casual atmosphere. Loud with lots of energy. Pretty much any alcoholic drink you want, they make. Food is tasty and the menu has a wide variety of offerings from sandwiches to more substantial entrees. Staff are friendly and service is good. Worth a visit.
The list of rules at the front door had me put off initially but overall this was a great dining experience. The wait was reasonable for our party of five. Our waiter was prompt, courteous and attentive without being annoying. He is the main reason for 4 stars rather than 3.The margaritas we ordered didn't come with salt (or sugar) on the rim. Although some was brought when we requested it. Additionally, I ordered the Fried Green Tomato BAT which was supposed to come with alfalfa sprouts but came with lettuce instead. Despite the unexpected substition the sandwich was excellent. My friend ordered the hamburger steak and it was sent out with fried okra rather than the corn nuggets he ordered. But our waiter quickly fixed this error.I look forward to eating there again with the hopes that my next visit will result in 5 star visit.
We love Big Chill. They are a cool spot all of the time but they do definitely excel in the brunch department. More frozen drinks than you can shake a stick at. Bloody Mary bar during weekend brunch! Diverse spot where everyone is welcome as long as you can act like a decent human.
The best!!! This place is one of my absolute favorites!!! The environment/atmosphere, the drinks (especially the caramel apple), but most of all the chicken fried chicken. I would eat here every day if I could. Also pictured is their Monte Cristo, which is hands down the best one I've ever had. The batter is like funnel cake batter. It's soooo good!!! We've thoroughly enjoyed their drag queen bingo and trivia nights. Can't say enough good about this place!!
I visited this place tonight, I haven't had this great of service in quite a long time, we were greeted and seated promptly, just so happened we arrived during happy hour!! The food came out so hot juicy it was delicious and packed with flavor! After tax the bill was less than $50!! I will definitely be back to The Big Chill and Grill!!
Amazing food, strong drinks, and superb service anytime I go. Locally owned and operated, and I love how the owner gets involved and really makes sure her restaurants are top notch. Karaoke, trivia, good music, and a heated smoking patio out back. It’s definitely one of my favorite places when I’m downtown.
I’m VERY DISAPPOINTED with the way things we’re handled for a reservation I made a little over a week ago. I’ve been a customer with Big Chill & Grill since Market St location. And I have NEVER experienced the kind of customer service I did today! Not only my reservation couldn’t be accommodated due to lack of communication with the other employees. The manager (Angie) decided to tell me less than two days before my reservations , they are not accepting reservations due to COVID! And when simply asked to speak with the owner (at her convenience) she was very RUDE, UNPROFESSIONAL, and DISRESPECTFUL! As many years of being a customer of Big Chill have I ever felt so UNAPPRECIATED as a PAYING CUSTOMER!!!!! Needless to say since their move the customer services has gotten terrible. And from the looks of other customer’s reviews so has their food. So I take it as a blessing.
Great place to go for a late night drinks the bar and service are always attending no matter how busy they are
