5 Stars Best food and Amazing Bubble tea boba tea ?
Great atmosphere and experience. One of the few authentic feeling Japanese restaurants. It doesn't just feel like a massive chain that has cut corners to make your food. They did amazing with out Ramen and boba. If we ever stop in Chattanooga again, this will be dinner.
I recommend NOT to order their ramen. At 15$, I think it is horribly overpriced. Served in plastic bowl and utensils, the broth had strong msg taste, not so much of the scmaltzy richness that you expect from tonkotsu broth. It is also seems to be overly reheated (Ramen isn’t usually scalding hot). Disappointed. The 2 stars are for the properly made egg and chashu pork belly. The poke bowl (that I saw other people orderer) however, looks good and seems to be a better deal.
Three stars because I ordered brown rice and got white in my poke. Ramen was ordered with NO bamboo shoots, it had shoots in there. Missed the eel sauce and the spicy mayo on the side. Kid loved her buritto. Mom was ok with her Ramen but would of liked more noodles. My Poke was good and I would order it again.
Surprisingly good poke bowls and decent ramen. Great place to pop in and grab something reasonably healthy and tasty.
My girlfriend brought us here after we visited the aquarium and I must say it will forever be a favorite place of mine. I had the Thai tea coffee and she had the strawberry milk tea and both were deliciously well made and the cashier was extremely nice. But the thing I loved the most was the setting. It was very welcoming and pleasant, and felt different in such a remarkable way. It's a perfect place for a date, and I'm certain it'll become a cherished memory for anyone who happens to take their love here. Thank you, Taichi.
Yummy tea offerings, but wasn’t crazy about any of the menu items. We were hoping for just sushi, but that option didn’t seem available. The service wasn’t super friendly or helpful (even though we stood there confusedly looking at the menu for 10+ minutes with zero offerings of assistance). This is also an order-at-counter joint, and then sit down (if you want) place. We ended up leaving and heading across the street for lunch after we ordered a bubble tea.
Taichi Bubble Tea was awesome. The three of us had lunch there, each choosing poke. Perfect. Easily the best poke I have ever had. I loved the huge options for toppings. My 3 fish choices were delicious.The flow there was very fast and efficient, something I can't say about all poke restaurants.
Delicious ramen. Good flavor broth kinda small portion for the price. Milk tea is good. Nice chewy boba. Self serve type place. Order at the counter pick up your food at the counter. Utensils and water in the corner.
Super reasonable prices, the staff were all kind. They were really quick, and the Boba smoothies are amazing!
