This place has an awesome variety to choose from. The bento box for $13 was a great deal. The summer rolls are excellent. Great service, ambivalence is okay.
Their Fried Spring Rolls and Sarong Shrimp are simply delicious starts to the meal. The Shrimp Tom-Yum-Kung soup is so flavorful and is some of the best I’ve ever eaten. The Spicy Green Curry and Penang Curry are our favorite dishes. The owner imports authentic Thai spices to make these dishes. The Spicy Basil Leaves with chicken and the Crispy Duck are also well prepared and never disappoint. We love their food and the owner is a wonderful person and she takes great pride in serving her customers.
My group of 9 were seated right away. The food was amazing. Our group had sushi, cashew chicken, red curry and each dish was more delicious than the last. The dessert was great, green tea cheesecake, fried rice cream, fried banana and coconut ice cream. Our server was wonderful. The only surprise was the tickets. The prices were very reasonable for the quality of the food. Don't miss this little jewel. Can't wait to go again.
Oh Sweeeeeeet Basil! This our (my bf and I) favorite restaurant here in Chattanooga. The best Thai place you will find! I promise. ❤️They don't have noisy music in the background, rather soothing. Like you come in and instantly become relaxed. Perfect place for going on a date, first time or your hundredth time. Bring your friends and family! Our favorite restaurant in town! The food is delicious, and the service is always wonderful! The owners are absolutely precious and are always there cooking and making sure everything is perfect for the customers!
I’m a regular at sweet basil, I can’t say enough about how wonderful the food and service is. The portions are very generous for the price and I can’t get enough of the food. Everything is flavorful and authentic and the staff are so welcoming. The chicken satay, pad se ew, beef and broccoli, and Kawasaki rolls are my favorites.
I loved the yellow curry with tofu, and their fried spring rolls were delicious!

Sweet Basil came across as a standard Thai restaurant to me. The waiter was kind. I left my glasses and he put them in a safe place until I could get them back. The food was ok. My noodles where a bit dry. The atmosphere was lacking. It seemed that they mostly do takeout. The price was good. They also have many vegan and vegetarian options. I will probably return at some point.
Food was incredible. It was very fresh and flavors were spot on.
