I really don’t understand how this restaurant is still open. I understand that places can’t get sufficient staff but this place is terrible. Placed Grubhub order at 8:45pm and my order wasn’t delivered until 10:10pm. Missing items, terrible watermelon ice cream slush and popcorn chicken was crumbs only 3-4 decent bites. Sonic kept sending text that my order was delayed. 3 different Grubhub drivers tried to pickup order but Sonic couldn’t get their act together. I will use the Sonic on Shallowford Rd from now on. Sonic on East Brainerd is a joke.
I watched as an employee took my credit card to pay for the tea I’d ordered, closed the window and walked across the store, keeping my card, keeping my card, keeping my card. I thought it was strange. Then that person used my credit card number to try to purchase things online. Blonde girl, ponytail, tattoo of symbols up her neck. We had to cancel our cards and get new ones. Tried to call management and got no answer. DO NOT USE ANYTHING BUT CASH AT SONIC RESTAURANTS!!!
Wasted 30 minutes at the drive thru and my drink wasn't right. Plus my daughter was screaming from sitting there so long.Edit: Today we stopped by again. Waited in line more than 30 minutes only to be told their ice cream machine was down. Then when I told them I sat there for 30 minutes for no reason they come back with "sorry". It wasn't what was said but the way it was said. Like they were exasperated by me. Like I was the one who was inconveniencing them. I wasted 30 minutes sitting there listening to my 8 month old getting fussy from sitting still so long and burning up gas that costs nearly $4/gallon. You won't let anyone pull in or order from the stalls and now we are sitting there waiting for no reason. There should have been a sign up or something indicating that there was no way to get ice cream. I mean it is the key ingredient to a huge portion of your menu items. How difficult would it have been to put up a sign at one of those empty stalls that says the ice cream machine isn't working? This is the absolute worst location I've ever been to. If you've got nothing to do and enjoy waiting for 30+ minutes for absolutely nothing, then this is the place for you. Otherwise, go somewhere else.
If I could give this place a -1 I would. I have been going to this place for 8 months and this place has never been great. The stalls to order are always closed so you have to go through the drive-through which takes 15-30 minutes to order then You have to wait for your order. Tonight I went and waited 15 minutes in line to order a milkshake. After waiting in line for 15 minutes I ordered said milkshake to learn that they cannot make milkshakes at this time. I ask for a sonic blast she then continue to tell me that the ice cream machine was broken and that my only choices are soda and slushy‘s. They need to have signs posted saying they do not have ice cream so I would not have to wait 15 minutes to find out. I then told all the cars behind me that they don’t have ice cream and left
We waited 15 minutes to order 2 large sweet teas 40 minutes later we were still waiting for our teas in a stall and watched people come and go that come up after us. I understand your busy during happy hour but come on 2 large sweet teas takes 5 seconds to make...
Food is great. Drive through is always crazy slow, ive tried late morning, mid afternoon, and evening over about six months. If you cant wait a while, try elsewhere
This is the WORST sonic I have ever been to. Almost every time I’ve gone here the order is made wrong. I pickup here for delivery services as well and they’re always rude. The guy with the big gauges in his ear that walked our order out complained the entire time and said very loudly “God I hate people” after he handed us our food and had an attitude the whole time. Wouldn’t go here unless you want just syrup to drink. Absolutely disgusting and will not be spending any more of my money here.
I ordered from Door Dash. The only thing good was that the foot long hot dog was good. The tots was cold. It's not because the dasher took too long. He got here within 10 minutes of picking up the order. He was amazing went above and beyond. I ordered a grape slush and got grape slime just syrup no ice. It was nasty. Never again.
By far the best BLT w/extra bacon I've ever had quick service down to earth workers.
This review is based solely on the customer service which is very important to me. This morning I stopped by for a breakfast burrito. Upon receiving my burrito before even looking in the bag I asked did the man at the window put the salsa in the bag. He said, “yeah.” I still checked anyway. Needless to say no salsa in the bag. So I asked for some and he stormed off. He came back and commented, “GOD!” Like I was just some kind of nuisance for asking for sauce. I did not catch his name but the guy was older and wore overalls and a baseball cap. He also had earrings and it looked to me he has a lazy eye and red mark on his forehead.
