I have to start by saying that I have not had the best experiences at the Hixson Pike location, lots of wrong orders or not having things on the menu available, especially the ice cream products, I eventually decided to not go here anymore but I wanted to give them another chance so I ordered and let me say I was wonderfully surprised, excellent customer service and the order was correct and delicious, the food was also beautifully put together, excellent job by the kitchen ! I hate a thrown together burger and this one was absolutely gorgeous:) Sonic, you have redeemed yourself, if you have changed management then it really paid off :)
I went there Saturday evening 3/2/22. I saw plenty of cars parked in the stalls so I pulled into one with the menu light on. I pushed the red button and a little while later the girl said " we're only drive through ". I didn't like it but I managed to drive over to the drive through lane. I noticed there were about five cars parked in the stalls on that side too. As I waited in line for about twenty minutes I watched the car hops walking back and forth. So they weren't just drive through. When I got to a place I could leave I left that place. They lost my business.
I never thought I’d find one worse than the one where we live but I think we have managed it. This one couldn’t manage 2 Ice creams and a kids meal. If you want flavor be prepared to mix it yourself because apparently you pay to do it yourself. After the second time shake was still wrong but wasn’t messing with it anymore
Pull up to the drive thru at 9:31 and we were told that they wasn’t taking anymore orders so their workers can get out on time. I’m run a store myself and we serve customers until closing time not 30 minutes before.
A lot of the screens were off on the menu board. Not sure why they have over 10 nonfunctioning stalls or if there's another reason behind it. Other than that, service was quick and had a friendly waitress. Last time I came to this location, my son and I ordered milkshakes and 20 minutes later they still were not close bring us our order. Another 5 more minutes and I left empty handed. Determined to have milkshakes, we ended up going to the Sonic on east brainerd road. A little slow at the window to order, but we got our milkshakes in less than 5 minutes at the e.b. road location.
I ordered a Nerds blast and asked for extra nerds. The only nerds in the whole ice cream was the sprinkles on top. I called and the “manager” answered I told him about the issue and he said Nerds are heavy they are probably all at the bottom. I said ok and checked. Still only a huge cup of only ice cream. I called again and another “manager” answered. I stated my problem again and she said Well… Nerds aren’t a good candy in a blast… Blizzards from Dairy Queen came first and they had Nerds lol… She also said I could come get another one but don’t expect much candy in it… what did I pay extra for if I shouldn’t expect EXTRA? Dumb idiotic fast food place avoid it and ALL their managers.
They served me very black, burnt/old bacon. I've never seen bacon burnt so bad in my life. I've been cooking for years and I couldn't have cooked it that bad with my eyes close. The manager made me a new burrito but after that, I couldn't eat it. They have forever lost my trust and bussiness.
Everytime I get pretzel sticks, at this location, they always forget the cheese. So don't order those. . .
The staff at this location is incredibly rude. They answer when you press the red button, mumble and never give you food or speak to you again. When you press the button for a second time they are rude and tell you they don't carry out mobile orders. Well that's nice, but this wasn't a mobile order. Apparently they don't want to walk out to the stalls but also get mad if you come through the drive thru. So basically they don't want to work. Go anywhere else. There's a better location on Shallowford Rd. This one isn't worth the stop.
I don't think I've ever been to a sonic that provides actual customer service till now! Y'all are super cool and sweet here! Keep up the great work!
