Wow! A burger joint and I ordered the fish-n-chips with an additional side of onion rings. Oh my gosh, the best fish-n-chips I’ve ever had, and I lived in England for two years. The onion rings with whatever that sauce is, are also probably the best I’ve ever had. Alexis came out along with Scott and between the two of them, they shared a bit of the story behind Slicks, which obviously, but not so obviously (if you’re not looking for it, you’ll miss it) started in a trailer, which remains as part of and is a centrifugal element to this storied much more than a burger joint. You don’t want to miss this one. Oh, those frozen cocktails are nice too and they’re half priced on Thursday.
I recently visited the restaurant for the first time this week. I had heard mixed reviews, but wanted to try for myself. I ordered the sweet and sassy burger and advised to add grilled onions on which I paid for. After getting to the restaurant at the time I needed to be there for my order I was advised that it would take about 15 more minutes. This frustrated me somewhat due to the fact that I placed an order for a future time but I did let that slide. When I get home I checked my burger and noticed that there were no grilled onions plus my burger was cold. I tried calling the restaurant back to speak with someone but when you choose the option to speak to a person it sends you right back to the automated system. Since I was unable to reach someone via phone I sent an email to the restaurant on the same day that the issue happened. I have yet to hear back from someone about my burger. This left a bad taste in my mouth being the fact that this was the first time I tried the restaurant. If you are looking for a great burger I suggest you go up the street to Jack Brown’s Burger Bar.
Really great food first time going. Burgers are amazing and especially the spicy seasoned fries. We'll be back definitely. My wife enjoyed her burger as well she couldn't stop saying on the way home she could go for another one.
I’m visiting from out of town and I was looking for a good burger restaurant and stumbled upon slicks which I now consider one of the best restaurants that I’ve ever had a hamburger at, the service was impeccable Scott I think his name was at the cashier was super friendly and helpful! I really loved his colorful tattoos and his welcoming presence. We definitely will come here again our next trip through.
We stopped here for a late lunch. We sat outside on the patio area. I really like how it was completely outside, yet was fully covered. It kind of felt like an outdoor room. There was some sort of netting that kept birds out etc... The burgers don't automatically come with fries, but they will "create a combo" of sorts. The kid's hotdog was large; since my kids are a little older, it was perfect for us. If you have small appetites, it could be split in half. You order at the counter and fix your own drinks/refills, but they will bring your food to you. If you are adventurous, try the "Fig Goat About It". The buns are from a bakery a few doors down... Yum! Parking was a bit of a frustration. It wasn't very expensive, but we did have to pay to park. We had to download a parking app for TN, because the meters are ran through the app. I think we did about 1.5 hr on ours to allow plenty of time since we did not want to be too rushed. We had adequate amount of time without having to add any additional time. The bathrooms were clean... HUGE POINTS in my book!
One of the best burgers in Chattanooga if not THE best. Awesome fries. Diverse menu. A little more than average street parking spaces for downtown. Never disappointed.
Great burger selection. Good selection of signature burgers and the customizable options are easy to do as well. Truffle fries were amazing. Beer selection was great and the had types I had never heard of. Very chill vibe and great music.

What a great burger place. Stopped here while driving through Chattanooga and glad we did. Easy to get to, fast friendly service, and great food. So many options and you can really customize the burger to what ever you want. Would definitely go again.
