Amazing fresh sandwiches from a no frills place. I’ve heard about this place from locals and it did not disappoint! I got the muffuletta sandwich which was delicious and reasonably priced, the sandwich with a drink came to $12. Service was fast and friendly and the place was very busy which is a testament to how good it is.

When asked what I wanted - I told them “impress the heck outta me”. After realizing I was serious - they went to it Pastrami on a light rye with coleslaw and cheese (Swiss? - it was melted) then hit it with a Panini Press. Out of this world. I challenged them to impress me - and they truly did

Chicago style Italian beef, yes please. About as close as you can get to Portillo’s, but in TN. Awesome food.

Two words…NEVER AGAIN. My coworker and I stopped by out of curiosity. While looking over the menu, the owner made suggestions about what we should try. Due to the lack of food choices (i.e. gluten-free options, various toppings, etc.), we decided to leave without making a purchase. We thanked the owner and proceeded to leave the deli. That’s when the owner blurted out, “HAVE A GOOD DAY LADIES! DON’T LET THE DOOR HIT YOU IN THE ASS!” We chose to ignore his comment. However, it goes without saying that we’ll never be back. I hope this business goes down the drain. With an owner like this, it’s a wonder how it’s still going.

There is no better deli in Chattanooga. New York Style, bagels imported from the Bronx, and daily specials that cheerfully rule the entire North Shore lunch scene with a Bronx iron fist. Wonderful quality food, and check out Julie Darling donuts across the street, they’re not [email protected]^%#g around just like Bruce. If there’s a line, wait. It’s for good reason.

Anything you order out of this place will be amazing. My husband ordered one of the day’s special, Brooklyn style Brisket sandwich (hot beef with homemade slaw). It was definitely one of the best meat sandwiches I’ve ever tried. I went for the veggie panini on focaccia which was loaded with (I think) roasted veggies. Also good. This place is always busy during lunch hour, but service is always quick. Highly recommended

Went with a Reuben for my first visit. Delicious! This place was perfect for a quick weekend lunch while running errands. Now that I know what I've been missing, I'll definitely return.

We were very impressed by the owner the friendliness, cleanliness, the quality of food and the timely manner it arrived to our table. Very tasty and just what we wanted after trying to find a new spot. Hidden little gem!!

First time customer today. I had the special pork tenderloin banh mi! It was delicious! Best sandwich in town. I’m sold!

Some punk cross-country food bloggers interrupted my order to complain about how Bruce interrupted them while ordering, displaying no self awareness. I'm sure he was just expressing his passion for deli meats. Anyway, I have a long and illustrious sammich eating history myself, so thanks for coming to my in-town food blog.
