Stopped by today (7/18) and was pretty happy with my food, the location and the service. It’s right across from the river, and right up the road from where we were staying. Todays special was the double cheeseburger with a drink and fries for 12 bucks. The cheeseburger was super yummy! I ordered a side of hush puppies and they were good too. My kiddo ordered barbecue wings and said they were some of the best wings he has tried. Besides the great food, I have to give a shout out to our server, Ms. Katie. She was super attentive, sweet, and positive. I enjoy great service with my food, and she delivered. If you’re by signal mountain, stop on by this family friendly restaurant. Nice people, affordable specials, and am overall yes for me.
River Drifters is a fun place to eat. We love to go after hikes in Prentice Cooper or by the Pot House. The porch is covered & dog friendly - a huge plus. The beer is cold with a good selection. The menu is eclectic & even has a vegan option. We enjoyed a delicious lunch after a hot hike.Our server, Katie, was attentive & knowledgeable making it a great time.
Took my family there for my daughter’s birthday. We had a party of 10 and our server, Rylee did a great job taking care of us. Everyone enjoyed their meals and appetizers. The shrimp were a very good size, you’d never find that size at Red Lobster. My mom ordered the Hot Italian Panini but was disappointed when they brought it out on a cold sub roll. They took it back to the kitchen and the smashed it somewhat, but still not the same as a panini. She said it was edible bought not happy it was not served as described on the menu. Keep in mind that bikers visit this place and the language can be upsetting to some. My 85 year old Bible Belt mother was not happy to hear at least three F-bombs while passing by the outside seating area. Keep that in mind as it may well be a dealbreaker for some. But if you’re like me, it’s just another word. One last thing that’s noteworthy, at happy hour which goes for several hours, domestic beers, not craft, are only $2 a bottle.
Amazing attention to detail, prompt service, phenomenal service… overhearing others guest experience you can’t help but acknowledge how caring the staff is here about very little last detail on the guest dining experience - even with a full patio the service is quick prompt and accurate. 10/10 experience and will be back. Perfect Chattanooga spot to soak up some sun and chow down on some good family owned cooking. Heads up, bring an empty stomach because the food is AMAZING!
Do not drive by this unassuming building without stopping in for food! I have visited multiple times and continue to be blown away by the quality of the food and service. Favorite menu items from our group included Granny G panini, burgers, Full Monty sandwich, and fish tacos. As an added bonus, the $2 Drifter Draft was a perfect pairing to our lunch.
The staff at River Drifters was great and the food after a half day of kayaking was the icing on the cake. We will be new regulars, I had the wings and my wife and daughter had the burgers. I would have posted pictures of the food but we dove right in and didn't get the chance to take a picture.
Food was excellent and my server Hannah was friendly and efficient. Prices were fair and atmosphere was relaxed. You can walk across street and get nice photos of river. A place worth going out of your way to visit.
A hidden gem just outside the city! From the appetizers to the main course the food is phenomenal! We were also pleasantly surprised to have some jerk chicken wings fresh from the smoker!!! They are not on the main menu but when they were finished everyone got a small special menu with a few more things listed. Smart move!! Couldn’t ask for fresher or tastier! Best wings hands down I’ve EVER had! So happy we found this place! Hannah was a great server and there is even an option to buy the kitchen a beer! Which of course we did!!! Good job guys!
Absolutely wonderful food and service ! My husband and I shared the mozzarella logs and oh my goodness they were amazing ! My bleu cheese burger was mouthwatering and so flavorful. Our server Eve was extremely friendly , efficient and helpful ! Prices are good for the awesome food and experience ! We will definitely be back !
Great food. We ordered the 2 Crab Cake dinner and received 2, three inch in diameter, crab cakes a one hush puppy for $25. A bit pricey but tasted great.-Steve
