What happened Rib and Loin? You guys used to be the go to place for BBQ, but my dinner the other night was terrible! I ordered the rib special with baked beans and mashed potatoes. At first sight, the ribs looked like they had been boiled and then thrown on a grill. BBQ sauce was haphazardly thrown on. The taste was even worse than the view. They tasted like they had been microwaved before they put them in my plate. There was so much fat on them, more than half the ribs were inedible. There was no rub or seasoning of any kind. The baked beans were actually very good. But the mashed potatoes and gravy were something you’d find in the bottom of the pot as the restaurant is closing for the night. The potatoes were hard and the gravy had already congealed on top showing it sat under the heat lamps for quite some time. The toast I was given was soggy at best. I just don’t understand what happened to y’all. Why would you serve food like this and be satisfied with it?
Our goto place to eat in Chattanooga! We have nit had a bad entree and we have tried a dozen different things! Food is good and service is always excellent! In a hurry, Food comes out quickly!!!
This review was for Hixson, but the “regional manager” got on the phone, so I feel like this applies here as well. We have been coming here for over a decade and it has gone down hill during the pandemic. It is the worst run restaurant in Chattanooga at this point. The combo plate went from $12.99 to $18.99 with no change in portions, the ribs have been consistently over cooked to the point of being inedible, and the management and owners are completely unwilling to do anything about problems.Today we called to let them know that our 2 ribs from our to go order were overcooked and not edible. We were going to come back, order more food, and give them the chance to replace them. The employees and “regional manager” we spoke to were totally dismissive and uninterested in taking care of the problem. We attempted to call the day of the issue, but they did not answer the phone (we called within minutes of closing). While talking to the “regional manager” she attempted to ask where I worked as if that had anything to do with their problem.It is pretty easy to understand why there is no longer anyone dining there and why they cannot seem to hire new staff if this is how they handle customer service. When I mentioned leaving a poor review, the same manager stated she would “call me out” or have it taken down. Just sad how bad this place has gotten.
Five years ago, I gave them a five-star review. Accordingly, I stuck with them, despite a steady decline in quality and service. A few months ago, when picking up a take-out order they had a sign inside the entrance with a half-hearted apology for the slow service, because "people don't want to work anymore." More likely, people just don't want to work for them. My experience matches that of my friends. There are other, better barbecue places in Chattanooga more deserving of your business.

I recently had an issue with my order where the wrong sauce was put on my orders. I took both plates back to the restaurant and the entire staff including management were extremely apologetic. They offered new plates, a gift card, drink and dessert. I really appreciated the way they made their error right with me. I’ll definitely be back. My food was excellent.

But what Paul won't tell you is that she needed $200k worth of welfare from the government to keep her dumpster fire of a restaurant from closing its doors. Don't be a welfare queen like paul. The money was supposed to go towards wages, Pauline, not a new car for your girlfriend. Oops! Hopefully your wife doesn't see this!
