We love to get take out and make a meal at home . We get the pork Togo and also the loaded potatoes are good too ! Thanks Hixson Rib and loin . It’s so convenient to have them cook the meat
Loaded pork potatoes were good. Wish there was a bit more smoke flavor in the meat, but that's just my preference. The bbq sauce was nice, not overpowering. And the sweet tea was delightful. I'd go back for sure.
Pretty much between a 4 & 5 star rating! Very good BBQ! Good Portions, and the drive up take out window is a big plus!
Our fav for family gathering meals. Staff is friendly and efficient and so is kitchen. I always forget I have to pay up front on the way out but that's just old age
Our server was amazing, seemed to be working the entire restaurant alone but didn't miss a beat ??. Food was terrible through fish sandwich and ribs get 2 thumbs down. When I went into the restroom to wash my mouth out from the taste of the food, the disgusting mold smell in there had me gagging even more.
The service was great and the portions are huge. The ribs were extremely tender and packed with flavor. The sides (I got mac and cheese, baked beans, and potato salad) were all great as well. Bonus points too for our server telling me I looked like Thora Birch. That was unexpected but really nice of her!
All was well, I know everywhere is short staffed, but the check was brought 10 minutes or so before we were even done eating. I ordered dessert at the checkout counter, since my waitress didn't give me the opportunity to ask for it. It is a weird world. I may eat dessert for breakfast tomorrow ?.
Pretty good food. I had a loaded baked potato with pulled pork. Large sized potato stuffed with cheese and pulled pork and it was good. We held a car club meeting there and they were very accommodating for our large group
My co-worker went through drive through today to get us both lunch...2 small almost identical orders. The lady at the window was soooo RUDE!! They won't allow separate orders from the same vehicle. My co-worker also requested extra bbq sauce for me. Again, rude lady said no we didn't need it...sauce is on the sandwich. Since when does Rib and Loin get to decide if I can have more BBQ sauce?!! I called the manager and told her what happened. She said that is their policy (no separate orders in drive through) because of Covid. What the heck?!?! That's okay. Rib and Loin isn't the only game in town. We will take our lunch business elsewhere. I would leave zero stars if I could! HORRIBLE customer service! Your restaurant isn't so special that I'm willing to put up with that kind of service.
@Aaron welchi am an employee at Rib and Loin in Hixson.It is not right to bring the whole staff of rib and loin into your dispute with the company. we depend on our tips and paycheck to support our familys. we try our best to be respectful, accommodating, fast and courteous. As for the sign about people not wanting to work, most of our employees have been here for 10, 20, or more years. during the pandemic we want to keep everyone safe by having more employees to give those who are sick the rest and time needed. when you are making reviews, remember the people that work and depend on them.
