Chinese No.1 Restaurant on Brainerd Road jas absolutely the BEST CHINESE MEALS from here to Miami, Florida!!!Any negative reviews must have been written by other competitive Chinese restaurants. l have lived in Florida & traveled all over the US & I have never eaten Chinese food better. I've referred many friends & they all agree. There are many Chinese restaurant closer to my home but its worth the drive to Chinese No.1
It has been a long time since I have ordered from here. I was so excited to get one of their awesome eggrolls. Nope everything was disgusting!!!
I’m highly disappointed in the food i purchase i been ordering Chinese food for a long time and to see how this place literally dump the general tso chicken and rice in a bowl then overfill it with sauce is devastating normal when u order a combo they separate the chicken and rice so that the chicken won’t be so soggy the lady was rude and ask me was I from Chattanooga what that have to do with anything I would not eat her again the low quality in the food.

We decided to order food from this restaurant because we were touring around Chattanooga and we were hungry, we wanted to eat something cheap and big portion.For $ 5.99 which is what the lunch special costs, you get a very good portion of food. I ate 2 times. My boyfriend who normally eats quite a bit couldn't finish all the food. For what you pay the food is not bad. This restaurant is a good option if you don't want to expend a lot of money. Don't expect the best quality. The food is not the best Chinese food but it is acceptable.We got Chicken Lo mei and Sweet Sour Chicken both dish comes with an eggroll. I ordered General Tso chicken. It was awful it tasted like orange chicken. The Krab rangoo no crab meat. Never again will I eat there.
Its always exactly what I ordered and good hot food and yummy and service is good too
Typical Carryout fare .but portions were generous. Pork fried egg rolls were the standout taste . Pass on Egg drop soup. Sesame Chicken, and Sweet and Sour Chicken were the main Attraction. Had vegetable fried rice, probably should have gotten the Pork fried .
I wasn't so sure about this place due to location BUT it's GREAT! Shrimp w/Garlic Sauce, fried rice & egg roll ? ALL delicious for $6 lunch & A LOT!!
So good. They are take out only right now, but the good is great!
