Always my favorite, when I'm visiting back home, I'll go to get a foot long hotdogs. Just don't cut mines in half next time. It was delicious!

Being from Alabama where we have a Sneaky Pete's Hot dog chain (which is the best) this place not only has variety they have homemade ingredients and was originally established in the 1900's by a black women who caused traffic problems and brought in bank!! I love even the history behind it. Her last names are Hawkins and Griffin which are both common in Birmingham, AL yet distinct at the same time. I have ties to both last names and on my first visit as I Read the history was absolutely grateful to be a 2022 1st time customer. her legacy and some of her own recipes still live on!!
I love a good hot dog. Finding a place with quality ingredients and consistency is a challenge. They have a variety of toppings and sauces, some nicely named home creations for their dogs, like the MOCS. Great place, it is a weekly visit for me now.
My family has really enjoyed coming here once a month or so for the last few years. Great people and some very tasty dogs with some interesting toppings. I recommend a coney dog with chopped jalapeno peppers and hot sauce.
Sooooo good. Best hot dog in Chattanooga for sure. Footlong coney with cheese, onions, and coney sauce. The best. Hope they continue to flourish like they have.
So Im just wandering if this place is the best hot dog some people have eat..they obviously havnt eat hot dogs many places. We were there on 4-07-2023 around 2..got to say by far this would be last on my list of good hot dogs..17 dollars for a footlong chili bun and a footling hot dog and 2 small bags of chips..my chili bun was cold...over priced and over rated
First visit, Friendly employees, We three loved the three foot longs we were served. We'll be back to try a different dog real soon. Keep Them Dogs Hot!
I ordered the Q dog! Finger licking good!Pulled pork, slaw, bacon bits.... yummy! And the staff was awesome+
I have ate at Mrs. Griffins for a long time and remember her very well. The relish that they put on it is not as good as hers, but I will continue to eat there.
