The parking is a little frustrating, but it's worth waiting for a spot to eat one of the best hamburgers in town. Stopped here for the first time for lunch yesterday, ordered a bacon cheeseburger. It was huge! You can tell that it's a family owned restaurant because of the quality ingredients.I'm also one of those people that always needs sauce for their french fries – not here. The fries are so good that no sauce or ketchup is necessary. I'll definitely be back.
Best burgers in town everybody should come try them at least once I promise you you will not be disappointed

This was our first visit to Merv's on Signal Mountain. Very good burgers, fries and homemade chips. Everything is fresh and you can tell. Very clean. There is games in the back room. Don't let the outside fool you. The young lady who is the manager is very friendly. Her grandfather was the original owner. I would highly recommend this establishment to go in, eat and relax.
My family was visiting from out of town and found them online. I've had burgers from all over the states and I would recommend this place to anyone. Great BIG juicy burgers. Great service and wait for Togo wasn't bad at all.
This place is absolutely amazing! My daughter and I ate there for the first time and we just love right around the corner. Im so mad at myself how how I have been passing this place up.The staff is super-duper amazing and nice?
Delicious no-frills food with great service and fair prices. There's a game room area with a few old arcade games, a TouchTunes machine, and a couple pool tables. Nothing fancy or gimmicky here and has a dive sort of feel, which is definitely my type of vibe. Bathroom was clean and stocked too, which is always a plus. I will definitely be visiting Merv's again?
Merv’s is a hole in the wall on Mountain Creek Road. If you’re wanting fancy ambiance this is not your place, but if you want a very good burger at a decent price point, it is. They use never frozen beef…very favorable. They have three sizes, The Merv, the Lil’ Merv, and the kids burger. For many women, the kids burger is plenty large enough. The have about 6 beers on tap, and the price is like $3 for a 12 oz pour.
The low carb burger with lettuce, tomato, bacon and cheese was delicious. It was presented so well within the food container, which show they care about presentation. I have passed this location so many times, but never stopped. I will definitely be giving them my return business.
Merv's is not so good now. Most menu items are overpriced. Portions have shrunk. My last sandwich was mostly bread. Including tax and tip, you end up paying $15 or more for a sandwich, fries and drink. Food is just average. In 2022 Merv's is unfortunately falling by the wayside.
