Unique seasonal drink choices and offered us a sample of one because we were wary. Good espresso, coffee, and breakfast. Would happily go back.

It seems as though all of their breakfast pastry items were made in house. The muffins and cinnamon rolls were definitely good. Coffee and tea were reasonably priced and had good flavor. The staff was kind and accommodating
Finally checked this place out during one of my bi-monthly excursions to Chatt. Their London Fog is among the better ones I've had, along with being served at a very acceptable temperature. The Alice is a big win, especially when one adds bacon. Portions are reasonable and you would definitely get plenty of bang for your buck. The overall vibe is laid back and definitely a hipster joint. The service at Mean Mug is amenable and overall experience is not stressful in the slightest. There were several dogs that other customers brought with them, so if you're an animal lover you'll get even more out of this experience. Highly recommend this low-key establishment.
I tried two of their coffees, and both were of the quality at a coffee house. They also have a few treats in the cabinet to go along with your beverage. I had a 'nutella' muffin...nutella is in quotes as the only evidence of being there was on the very top. It was mostly a bready muffin, think yellow cake. Disappointing sums it up. The prices are fairly typical for Chattanooga area coffee shops. The atmosphere is relaxful, worth the trip. Parking can be dicey on a busy day. There's space out front on Main Street and a few places out back. There's also pay lots close-by.
Really cute coffee shop, will look at working here in when I don't have meetings. Taking a star away because the Matcha drink is awful, coffee is great though!
we are on a road trip, needed some real coffee. found this spot....... really good coffee for a med. roast. and it was hot !!!! love when its real hot.
Best grits in Chattanooga! Perfectly cooked, buttered, and seasoned, with a bit of al dente bite like a proper grit should have. The rest of the food I ordered (breakfast plate with scrambled eggs, biscuit, and sausage) was also cooked just right and came out hot. Coffee was excellent as well, prices were reasonable, and staff was friendly, no nonsense, and helpful. First experience here since I moved to town, and I think I already found my new favorite spot. Super cute atmosphere, great coffee, yummy food and excellent service! Gotta give a shout-out for Augustine who took our order, got it out to us quickly and was so kind when my coffee lid popped off and made a mess. She wiped it up and replaced my coffee with such a sweet understanding attitude. Definitely plan to go back!
