My husband and I were there on date night and Rachael took wonderful care of us and explained every dish if we had questions. All of her recommendations for food exceeded our expectations will definitely be coming back because of her service as well as the delicious food.
Terrible service. When we arrived at the restaurant for a seminar there were rolls and butter on each table but no water, knife or napkin. The waitress did not ask about our drinks when she took our order. I was so thirsty half way through the meal that I had to ask for a glass of water. And it took five minutes to get it. (I am not used to ordering drinks since I don't drink anything besides water, which most restaurants provide automatically.) I suppose Jim N' Nick is too eco-friendly to even give you water, napkin or butter knife? The waitress never came back to take our order of dessert. I just found out that the beef brisket I ordered came with two choices: the marbled meat and the lean meat. The waitress did not ask for my choice. I don't know which kind I was served.
My wife and I really enjoyed our time with Julie our server. The food, music and service was totally awesome! I had the BBQ half chicken, my wife had the turkey breast, they both were cooked to perfection. We highly recommend this establishment.
Generally, we have always had good experiences with Nick N Jim's. However, this last time, someone dropped the ball. The food was good, as always. However, how can you have a BBQ place with out BBQ sauce. I asked for some BBQ sauce for my pulled pork and for my wife's sandwich, the server brings a half full, small take-out ramekin of sauce. I looked at this small amount of BBQ sauce, at a BBQ restaurant, and ask for more. Then the waiting game began. After watching the server bring items to the next table, go out on the patio, go into the back, bring items to a different table near us, go back to the patio, I went to the get my own. That's when I found out the BBQ restaurant was OUT of BBQ sauce.What????Next time, I will ask if the BBQ restaurant has BBQ sauce.
I never knew chicken could melt in your mouth. Every meat we had was melt in your mouth wonderful. They have 4 different sauces that they'll let you try if you've never been there before. The bourbon peach drink we had actually tasted like bourbon and had fresh muddled peaches, not fake syrup. Our server was wonderful, and she brought us banana pudding for dessert to welcome us haha. This will absolutely be a place we take everyone from the North when they visit.
My server Katie was awesome. This was my first time going there and the food was great. Sweet tea just right. Service was so great that I will be returning. She was very attentive and answered my questions and had the best attitude and customer service skills on an A+ level.
my parents and i came here at the end of our trip to chattanooga,and it was sooo tasty. there was a bit of a wait,but i didn't mind. the cheese biscuit thingies were soft and fresh,and the meal i ordered was on par !! staff are super nice ^_^
I just have to say the environment was great, and the food was FANTASTIC! My server Cole was on point and kept the drinks flowing.
Great food and great service I love it there collard greens and stuffed bake potato's are the bomb There cheddar cheese biscuits we'll let's just say try them and you will have to have them ... yummy !!!
Server rude, incompetent, unprofessional. Poor service makes even the best food taste like bile in your mouth. Sara ( manager ) heard the crude outburst and told me she had reprimanded the employee but never offered an apology.
