My husband and I started going here when we were dating, 27 years ago. The times we were NOT pleased could be counted on one hand.
Today my coworkers and I decided to order Chinese for lunch and we were extremely excited because this is something we had never purchased as a group. To say that we were disappointed is an understatement. We came inside and no one greeted us. The only good thing about the food was the soup. The sesame chicken was extremely dark and dry and the orange chicken was not even prepared in the orange sauce. The orange sauce was given to us in a separate container and its consistency was like applesauce. The staff was nice but the food was the worst Chinese food that I have ever had. Needless to say we won't be trying this again. We literally took a bite of our food and threw it all away. If you like good food you won't find it here.
Imperial Garden is a solid choice for any struggling vegetarian in Chattanooga. They have a pretty decent vegetarian menu, and a couple appetizer’s/side dishes that are safe for a veggie.I recommend the spicy honey artificial chicken.One thing I will say is most of the vegetarian dishes taste pretty similar, so it’s not worth getting multiple dishes to try. The general Tso’s and the Honey chicken are almost identical in taste. The veggie egg rolls are really good.

Been coming to this place all my life. Always good. Miss the old owners. But the new owners seem to be doing ok. Would recommend.
Looks like a generic Chinese strip-center restaurant. In some ways it is. The decor is fairly standard, but extremely well maintained. The restaurant is far cleaner than normal. The quality of the menus, dishes, everything was a step above normal. My fried rice wasn’t great but all of our entrees were excellent. The food was colorful and not cooked to mush. It was some of the best Mu Shu I’ve had in memory. Our waiter wasn’t cheerful, but he was attentive. We’ll be back.
Tonight I ordered Hunan Chicken takeout for dinner. The brown sauce was watery. They give you a nice portion of food, but its not good. Management has changed from bad to worst. I wouldn't recommend.
Easily my favorite Chinese place in Chattanoga. I finally found a place that does cream cheese wontons (without Crab included!). Thy are soo much better without any crab (soy or otherwise involved). Hot and Sour soup and Egg Drop were both yummy as well
Let me just give a shout out to my friends over here at Imperial Garden! I've been eating there consistently for 2 years now and they are, by far, the best Chinese Restaurant I've been to. It's easy to order online and pick it up...if they mess up(which is rare..twice in 2 years for me) they are so quick to make it right! Thank you guys!
Food was very good and customer service was great. We had a birthday party there and everyone enjoyed the food and service. We all agree we will certainly return back there again.
