My family of 5 just visited the Chattanooga TN Brainerd Rd IHOP and there were two employees. The Waitress and her husband “the cook”. There were several other parties there dining also including one larger than ours, Definitely should have been 5-6 employees minimum but there was 2. And they worked together and made everyone happy and made our foods perfectly. Refilled our drinks multiple times and left us in complete awe of how well they handled themselves in an already stressful environment while seriously understaffed. I have to admit it was the finest experience we have had at any IHOP. My family and I pray that good luck and fortune are brought to these 2 wonderful employees. I desperately hope management sees this post and appropriately rewards their hard work and passion, making everyone feel much better after dining there with them. These people work the jobs of many people to make that business thrive. Thank You Very Much and hopefully we will see them in their again with the same smiles soon.

Visited this location today. Wasn’t too much pleased with the food or services. Let’s start with the service: I asked if I substitute the eggs for hash browns and waitress wasn’t too sure so he stated she would ask. She then comes back to the table relaying the message from the cook or manager, “I’ll make an exception this time but I can’t do this all the time”. Let’s be clear, no one eats here! Services suck! And who the heck says that to a paying customer. If you did could not (due to your policy/guidelines) or didn’t even want to that’s perfectly fine. I did not mind paying additional/extra for f’n hash browns. Then we ordered the sirloin tips (don’t recommend!)… they were super sweet as if they were marinated in sugar or some sweet seasoning prior to serving. Long story short, the experience was horrible. I would rather eat at the Hixson location or not here at all to be honest. We won’t be back.

It took us 2.5 hours from the time we got there to the time we paid to leave. Service was slow and it was around 3:30 AM when we got there. Waitress was great but they definitely need another person there to help with any graveyard shift rushes

I think they need to be retrained in how to wait on customers and not cough when you are standing beside the customers. This is the second time we've been here and it will be the last time. You can go eat at your own risk but you need to take a drink with you because you sure won't get a refill of any thing.

I like IHOP, so when we saw this one while traveling, we gave it a try. The place was clean (including restrooms) and service was friendly. But, they got my order wrong. I wanted the Swedish crepes. I got crepes, but instead of lingonberries and lingonberry butter, I got something that turned out to be blueberries. It was actually very good, but it wasn't what I ordered. I mentioned that, and they brought me one with strawberries. Again, not lingonberries (which are somewhat like cranberries). They then mentioned that due to supply chain issues, they did not have lingonberries, which I wished they had said in the first place. I completely understand that issue, so I wasn't too upset as what I got was tasty and good. The restaurant did offer me a to-go meal, which unfortunately wasn't very useful as we were 6+ hours from home, but I did appreciate their trying to rectify the situation. You can get a good meal here.

I have never been to an IHOP that was so... Unprepared as this one. I ordered the exact same thing here as I have at every other one I've been too and they got 3 orders wrong. My party only had 3 people in it. Strawberries are not lingonberries and unsweet iced tea does not have sugar in it and crisp bacon does not bend and drip. In a nearly empty resturant they didnt understand the concept of social distancing. And I cant blame my server because she confirmed our orders and did her best to make sure we weren't seated by anyone else. It was after ordering that the problems began. Our server at least tried to rectify the problems. The only truly good things I can say about this one was the bathrooms and main dining area were clean and they knew how to make coffee and hot tea. I don't know what was going on here but please get it together.

I don't tend to write a lot of poor reviews because I try to be understanding with service industry jobs, but this place has consistently taken ages to cook orders. Typical wait times can take 1+ hours for meals that should really only take a fraction of the time. This isn't just one order either, it's multiple visits. If it wasn't for being one of the few places open late night I probably wouldn't even bother.

This ihop is not good the pancakes were in the microwave the are diry

Literally only wanted to sit and have a cup of hot chocolate and some pancakes. Came in, dining room had MAYBE 10 people seated. Waited 15 minutes still no one came to even see what I needed. Called the store from the lobby was told, "We're short staffed you'll have to wait" still was never even asked what I needed. Mind you I would have been content sitting in a booth (since I'm 8 months pregnant sitting down is a treat) and looking over the menu sipping a hot chocolate while I waited. Plenty of tables, all it would have taken was MAYBE 5 minutes to seat me and grab a hot chocolate for me. STILL WAS NEVER ASKED WHAT I NEEDED. Two people came to check out so that makes about 8 people left in the dining area. Man who answered the phone came out from the back FINALLY, but instead of being polite and asking how he could help me he felt it necessary to "check me" in front of the other patrons repeating what he had already said over the phone "We are short staffed so you need to bare with us and just wait" ✋ um sir I don't HAVE to do anything for you I came in here to purchase food and service not your attitude, disrespect and lack of time management skills. I didn't appreciate the disrespect so I walked out. I called back to get the District managers number and he started hanging up playing phone games and refusing to give me the information. It's on the website so you failed once again at being a smart human being. I hope he is not the manager because if so, he's leading by a very POOR example of what customer service means.

Horrible! They didn’t have everything in my order Bryan and Trina (the managers) went through my food with no gloves then gave it back to me and said “They remade everything” in which my order was still missing pancakes. I requested a refund and was told they do not issue refunds but they could compensate me with a drink. A waste of an hr of my time to still end up with cold food.
