Home Plate was recently renovated and is back better than ever. The staff is great and very attentive to customers needs. I tried the “Nate Burger” and I have to thank Nate for his culinary contributions, it was amazing. Between the new pool tables and atmosphere I can see home plate as a place I take my friends frequently. Come check it out you won’t regret it.
We visited this place on my husband's birthday and they are very friendly people. The type of people to make you feel right at home. Very clean, very entertaining, and definitely worth the visit! Thank you for making our trip memorable! (Also sorry we didn't make it back to the party, we got tied up) until next time my friends.
This place was nice. I will definitely go back. Didn't try the food but I noticed ppl were ordering and the staff was busy serving. Really a nice place to hang out and chill.
Great neighborhood bar!! Very good food, kind employees, and very clean. Highly recommend if you’re in the area. Lots of tvs to watch any game.

The Home Plate Bar and Grill has been taken over and completely remodeled from the ground up. It's gorgeous!! New owners and management with topnotch food and drinks. Karaoke, live music coming soon. Gorgeous pool tables and a patio area to enjoy nice nights or beautiful days! Come check it out! Opens at 11am for lunch. The philly cheese steak is the bomb!
My husband and I went to Home Plate for dinner Saturday around 5:30. There was one person sitting at the bar and a couple in the back playing pool. There was the female bartender and one server. We sat down and no one came to greet us so I got up and asked the bartender for menus. I thought at that point the server would come and greet us and take our drink order. After almost 10 minutes we decided to leave. When we walked out no one said a word to us. I have never been to a restaurant where the service was that bad. Would not recommend this place.
I really want this place to succeed. We have lost too many neighborhood bars in the last decade. I will post more when I visit again. I'm glad they have new owners. The last owners seemed shady at best. Looks like the new owners have put some money into fixing this place up.
