My first visit to Hana steak and sushi was due to a graduation for a friend's daughter. The atmosphere was fun! There was even a robot delivering items and playing music! However, we waited a really long time to be seated and even after that at the hibachi seating. And I do mean a long time. Once the person came out to do the hibachi, they were very nice and a lot of fun; but the food still didn't have the punch I was hoping for. They did seem to be understaffed. So I think I'll go back and give this another try.

First (and last) time ordering. Chose vegetable rolls. Ordered TWO to-go with cream cheese instead of pickled radishes. Ummm. Shouldn't look like a veggie tray. Supposed to have asparagus but these stalks were tough. Not sure why these and the carrots were just stuck in the sushi. Very little cream cheese in four. I've gotten a lot more sushi at other places when I order two rolls....for the same price.

Food was great, overall service was good, but (there's always a but, huh)...My wife and I ordered steamed rice, which apparently had to be brought up from the kitchen, and our server forgot it. The hibachi chef tried several times to get her attention as everything had been cooked and served, and we still didn't have our rice. Finally he was able to tell her, but my medium-rate steak and scallops came off the grill 1st, so my food was rather cold by the time we got it. Really should give this a 3 for that reason, but the food was cooked perfectly. A little disappointed in the chef's "performance" though, as the chef at the other table did all the traditional fun things, while ours was dialed in on getting us fed. Which isn't necessarily a bad thing, but if that's an important part of your hibachi experience, it appears to be a luck if the draw.

Hana has good food but the customer service is lacking. Not only do they fluctuate prices at random, but when you are trying to place a pick-up order to avoid the huge markups they have with DoorDash and such, they also don’t honor their online menu pricing when ordering over the phone with them. They claim they yet again updated their prices but haven’t done anything changes to their website, and are absolutely unapologetic about the $5+ markup on most menu items that they will try to gloss over. When confronted they just ignore it, refusing to honor their advertisement even if photographic evidence is provided by pulling up the online menu in front of them showing the price. Zero apologies or attempts to correct the price for the order. I will not be going back unfortunately.

Ordered delivery for dinner and the quality was horrendous the rice was burnt and covered in so much spice we could not eat it. Everything seemed like it had sat for hours. The steak wasn't even cut it was just in large chunks and not cooked through. my boyfriend found a curly black hair in his rice. Usually I love this place but this was just horrible.

I had lunch here two days ago and it was good the server was amazingly patient and kind. The food was good. However I was disappointed to know that the GM/ owner spent 30k on the little robot to deliver food when the employees deserves a bonus or a raise . Sad that they don’t even get a bonus of 500 or something. This company doesn’t value their employees.

Grill was not clean. Old burnt rice and sesame seed on it when I was seated. Salt/pepper shakers and soy sauce containers were all sticky and disgusting. One child with another family never received their kids meal. I had to ask twice for my drink. My soup had a piece of soggy napkin in it. The salad dressing was some weird combo of ginger and honey mustard. Yuck. I was asked if I needed a box and I said yes but never received the box. The only upside was my steak was good and cooked as I ordered it. That's the only reason for the second star. Will not return.

Food was really bad. Miso soup was bland, two of my rolls were tempura and I think the breading was what really threw the taste off. They were too salty and almost bitter. I also ordered fried rice and expected normal fried rice with eggs and veggies but it was literally just rice.

This place was really neat. I love the decor and they have a sushi robot!! My yummy roll was a little heavy on the cream cheese but it did live up to it's name. My husband got a hibachi dish and he said it was delicious. Of note, we did show up just about 20 minutes before they closed and received stellar service (white female, long hair). Not from Chattanooga, but would definitely go back!
