Small little place, order at the counter. Out of a few menu items (discontinued, not sure why they don’t remove them from the menu). The food we had was good, the staff was friendly. I would call this a good lunch spot.
The hot dogs were just ok, definitely not to die for. I do know I sat there for twenty minutes before the employees realized they had not even started my order and I wasn't too happy about that. Probably wouldn't recommend.
Good Dog is always a great restaurant to visit when I go to Chattanooga! The atmosphere is great, the staff are friendly, and the food is top notch! Lots of ways to customize your order too, which is a plus. Highly recommend the Pimento Dog

This was my favorite place in Chattanooga for over a decade. It was great to have a place with a really tasty vegetarian hotdog, not an easy thing to come by. Unfortunately, since they sold to See Rock City, they’ve discontinued the frite sauces, started using seemingly lower quality hotdog buns, and now they’ve switched to a different veggie dog that tastes pretty bad. Texture is really weird, and it tastes more like a bratwurst than a hotdog. So sad to see a Northshore staple go downhill
Cute little hot dog place with EXCELLENT friendly service!!!The woman who took our order was superb!!If you visit Chattanooga and end up in Northshore shopping….make sure you add this place to your itinerary. I would say it’s definitely worth it!!!
A small hidden dog joint in North Shore! The service was spot on, friendly employees and the food was everything but ordinary. If you are looking for a quick bite with lots of options to dress up your dog, this is the place! The art work and atmosphere was very groovy!
Was in a bit of a rush today. But we normally visit here two or more times per year. We usually order a quarter pounder chili dog topped with coleslaw, a soda , a cone/ cup of french fries. And a polish or kabasa sausage, soda & fries. I did pop in today. The menu appears to have been reduced to fewer choices. But still a lot in which to create some great meals. Next time. Next time for us. For sure!
Very quick service- friendly staff. Good variety of hot dogs and sides. Just wish the large hot dog was a little bigger. Worth a stop!!
I don't get to downtown Chatt much any more but glad to see Good Dog still has great food and service! Highly recommend you check it out and ask about the different frite (french fries) dips.
